Will eat there again when I get a chance to go back. The salsa was fresh and very tasty. Not your typical salsa from a bottle. Had the fajitas which were scrumptious! Our waiter was incredibly kind as well.

We like to sit at the bar and the bartender was attentive and friendly. The food was very good, we will go back!

This looks like a hole-in-the-wall tourist place on the side of the road, but it's not. It's authentic, affordable, Mexican food, very tasty and well prepared. I ordered two separate dishes because I wanted to try so much, and it was all selicious. The Cantina feels like a throwback island restaurant, not pretentious, very friendly, with great food. it's worth more than one visit during your island visit. Plenty of indoor seating for a hot day (you can't tell from the outside, but there is good seating inside).

DON'T MISS OUT, STOP BY THIS GREAT PLACE!!!

Nice laid back local establishment
Interior is uniquely covered in dollar bills.

Just don't go... food was terrible.
Service was meh... server walked away, scratching his belly under his shirt, then made our margaritas... which were just poured out of an igloo cooler into plastic cups... for $10.
Little belly sweat to round out the saltiness.

Service was quick and courteous. Atmosphere is a bit dirty, rundown however its quirky. The place is wallpapered in dollar bills. Pretty cute. Food unfortunately was very bland and appeared to be processed ie Goya boxed yellow rice instead of homemade. The queso had no spice or pizzazz. Just milky cheese. I tried to doctor it up. The drinks are decent and margarita is very good. They were working out of a tent and food truck last year due to remodel from Hurricane. Everything was better. Idk, maybe a bad day. Def get margaritas and chips for a Lil happy hr snack.

This place is THE place to get good Mexican food and margaritas, first off the atmosphere is amazing with all the dollars signed and stapled to the wall, the colorful vibes, friendly staff and amazing food and drinks! I will be visiting this every year I come to this beautiful little piece of heaven on earth.
