Food was over priced with no flavor! Paid $18 for a shrimp fajita salad and couldn't eat it because the shrimp were cooked too long and the salad was not good. Go to the Bubble Room across the street for a good meal and great service.

I came here hoping for a fiesta—left feeling like I’d been to a mildly awkward office meeting. Let’s start with the margaritas. I don’t know what was in them, but I’m pretty sure the bartender just waved a bottle of tequila near the glass and called it a day. I’ve had stronger tap water.
My husband had steak tacos, those were ok. We started out with the queso cheese. It was not hot and had NO flavor. I had the steak tacos salad. The steak was very chewy and grisley. Salad was served plain with a small cup of ranch dressing. For $18 it was very disappointing. We won’t be back.

Cantina Captiva, I can’t express how delicious the food here is. We just had lunch moments ago, left with full belly’s and already want to go back. Staff was amazing and attentive. Selections are great and affordable. The inside is cool and crisp after the florida heat, decor is fun. Outside is absolutely perfect for those with large parties as they have tons of space. All around they bring the spice to Captiva!

amazing! some of the best Mexican food I’ve had from a restaurant. good service and a nice lowkey spot to eat. came here with my boyfriend and it was spectacular. we loved it!
