Will eat there again when I get a chance to go back. The salsa was fresh and very tasty. Not your typical salsa from a bottle. Had the fajitas which were scrumptious! Our waiter was incredibly kind as well.

This looks like a hole-in-the-wall tourist place on the side of the road, but it's not. It's authentic, affordable, Mexican food, very tasty and well prepared. I ordered two separate dishes because I wanted to try so much, and it was all selicious. The Cantina feels like a throwback island restaurant, not pretentious, very friendly, with great food. it's worth more than one visit during your island visit. Service was quick and courteous. Atmosphere is a bit dirty, rundown however its quirky. The place is wallpapered in dollar bills. Pretty cute. Food unfortunately was very bland and appeared to be processed ie Goya boxed yellow rice instead of homemade. The queso had no spice or pizzazz. Just milky cheese. I tried to doctor it up.
