Cantina Captiva, I can’t express how delicious the food here is. We just had lunch moments ago, left with full belly’s and already want to go back. Staff was amazing and attentive. Selections are great and affordable. The inside is cool and crisp after the florida heat, decor is fun. Outside is absolutely perfect for those with large parties as they have tons of space. All around they bring the spice to Captiva!
Will eat there again when I get a chance to go back. The salsa was fresh and very tasty. Not your typical salsa from a bottle. Had the fajitas which were scrumptious! Our waiter was incredibly kind as well.
This looks like a hole-in-the-wall tourist place on the side of the road, but it's not. It's authentic, affordable, Mexican food, very tasty and well prepared. I ordered two separate dishes because I wanted to try so much, and it was all selicious. The Cantina feels like a throwback island restaurant, not pretentious, very friendly, with great food. it's worth more than one visit during your island visit.
