Cheese pizza- would recommend. Great service over the phone and in person. Order placed on the phone and I was told 30min. Pizza was hot and ready when I walked in. Take out order.

Their site says they deliver, but they said no and hung up. Then they called me back and hung up again. Not a place I would want to deal with.

The guy working there is very unusual. I’m not sure if it’s a mental issue but he has no courtesy or customer service. Fix your phones so someone can actually call on a head of time. Pizza wasn’t bad but will never go back due to who I presume to be the owner.

Have had great experiences this year. Ordered by phone for pick up each visit. When busy, will take a few tries to get thru. Pizza is delicious. Really enjoyed the Canon ball.

Have you ever wanted to experience disappointment in the shape of a circle? Look no further than Captiva Pizza! Its crust is so cardboard-like, you could build a house with it during a pizza apocalypse. The toppings are mysteriously scarce, making each bite a treasure hunt for flavor. If you enjoy feeling like you've eaten a culinary mirage, this pizza will leave you questioning your life choices and craving a real meal. 1 out of 5 stars – only because it technically qualifies as food. Do yourself a favor…before heading over the causeway, stop at Chuck e Cheese in Ft Myers for a better option.

Fantastic pizza! This was hands down the best pizza on all of captiva and sanibel, and we tried a lot of others during our stay! It was easy to order, and he was very kind and helpful even though we were thirty minutes late picking up our pizza.

Delicious pizza, good prices and great service!!! We accidentally called at closing time but they were friendly and took care of us quickly. Great way to top off a long day at the beach.

Attempted to call to place an order, but no one picked up and the voicemail didn't work. Tried again in case it was a fluke and same result. Waited 5 minutes to see if we could get through and the phone went straight to voicemail....
If you can't or are unwilling to take an order just tell people instead of turning your phone off and acting like a child.
Can't really comment on the food becuase we haven't been able to actually purchase any.

Classic Cheese and Skinny Pirate both were really delicious. I didn't let the negatives deter me from trying this place. Two guys making pizza I'm sure during season is not easy. Dough was perfectly done and ratio sauce and cheese as well. Just really good pizza!

Delicious pizza! Fresh ingredients. Owner went out of his way to make our specific order request work for my girlfriend who has dairy restrictions. Definitely recommend.
Dietary restrictions: We were able to make a pizza with half cheese + half no cheese. Much appreciated.

Adding info for others. This isn't a sit down pizza place, despite it being marked as "Dine In" on Google. There is a single table inside, but I'm not sure you can sit there because the guy working only would let us order to go.
I'm not sure the number listed on Google is correct because it disconnected after every attempt. We tried for about an hour to order a pizza but gave up and drove over thinking we could "Dine In"
The location is on the second floor, no working elevator. This can be an issue if you're a grandma, on crutches, like ours. She climbed the stairs, like a champ, to be greeted by an annoyed solitary employee.
Inside is cluttered and appears pretty dirty. It's the only pizza place on this side of the island that I found but you'd be better off with a frozen pizza from 7-Eleven.

Thank you for your well wishes, but I do not think we will return for take out. Despite the general dirtiness and non-working phones and non-handicap accessible location -- the other problem was the hostility of the employee.
I'm not sure if this gentlemen is the owner, or just an unhappy solitary worker but his general attitude was
1) why are you coming in here at 6:15 on a Saturday, when we close at 7pm?
2) how dare you ask for a menu? Can't you see it is written on the chalkboard? With all the clutter in here, how can you possibly miss the chalk board on the wall behind you in this place you've never been?
3) the fact that our phones don't work is none of your business and don't deserve a response or acknowledgment.
When you treat customers like you don't want them there, it's not a good experience. The other recent reviews seem to indicate this is a continuous, not one-off issue.
Maybe it's time to sell the place to someone who likes making pizza or dealing with customers or answering the phone. No one is obliging you to be open or be in business and I'm sure someone else would be happy to fill the space.
Website says open from 11-7. Went in at 1:30 and was told they don’t open until 4. Had the pizza years ago and liked it but can’t find them open at a reasonable time anymore.
I don't even know where to begin. I attempted to order a pizza by calling into the business but the voicemail was full. I went directly into the store to order and the owner was in clear view way back behind the counter. He was making pizzas but would not stop to acknowledge me. I said excuse me very politely about 5 times over a 5 minute time period. He finally looked at me and glared but didn't speak. I finally left and when I did I asked someone downstairs at another business what was wrong with this guy and they said he pretty weird and they wouldn't go there. I caution anyone not to go to this establishment. I reviewed him also on Yelp and he responded with a lie saying that I was yelling and being threatening. This is a complete lie! He responds to numerous negative Yelp reviews the same way he did mine with lies. Stay clear of this business.
Try behind door number 2 if your going to lie! No one grew impatient or chose to escalate the situation. As the owner you are the only employee and the customer behind me did the same thing and left. You never asked me to leave because you never even spoke to me. You just glared at me from the back area as if there was something wrong with you. Again, I would advise customers to check out all his review. He does the same thing on them. He puts straight up lies to make the customer look bad and continues to behave in this psychotic behavior in the store.
