Cute place! A little small! And could have more ice cream flavors!

The ice cream is ok. The woman working was very nasty. The look on her face and attitude told us all we need to know not to go again.

Very Rude. I Will not go back in that place again. I was yelled at because all I had was $20 dollar bill! Guy was not friendly at all I felt like he really wanted me to leave. Oh and what ever you do don’t ask for a napkin!!

Ice cream is average, however the workers especially the lady is extremely rude. Horrible service.

I honest wouldn’t even give them 1 star but had no choice. Not only are they the rudest people ever but they are unsanitary! The ice cream wasn’t even good.Don’t waste your time. Drive a few extra miles into Sanibel and go to Pinocchio’s or Joeys Custards.

I've been going here for a few years, but will switch to the Bubble Room's new ice cream shop. Today I went at 3:00 to Latte Da when the hours of operation said they were open (and the neon open sign was on), but the door was locked. I looked inside, saw two people and a woman opened the door briefly, and said "shift change, come back in 15 minutes" very angrily. She then shut the door before I could say anything. It's as if she was real mad that I had the audacity to try the door.I'll be going to the bubble room from now on. The ice cream is better there anyways.

I had to give at least one star if I could I would’ve given ZERO. We walked in at 9:30 because all other places were closed for ice cream. There was like 8 flavors. A big group in front of us ordering coffee. The man behind the counter would take each individual person order at a time. So it took forever. While he was waiting for each order to be done he was washing dishes in front of everyone. I understand it was almost time for him to close but it was the only ice cream shop still open so they obviously we’re going to get business. It was our turn and my brother asked if there was samples there was a tiny sign saying no samples that he did not see. The man said in the nastiest tone “can you not read.”Then the first person in our group had a oreo milkshake he let out the biggest sigh when we ordered that. Then we ordered another one and he was still mad the girl felt intimidated to order. Then we wanted a mint choc chip milkshake he said no it’ll break the blender. So she just had the cookies and cream one which was the milkiest grossest shake. Not only was the man the rudest but the service was so slow.Also to add he was complaining about the payment. He said exact change or credit card. How do you not have any money in your cash register. Oh was it because they were already closing?

I walked in only 10 flavors. I ordered mint chocolate chip shake he said " that will break the blender". I said can I have a cookies and cream shake he sighs and puff and said fine. He said to person front me "can you not read" because he asked if he can have a sample. there was a no sample sign but small so the man did not see it. "only exact change or credit". the shake was not good all milk no ice cream. he starts to roll his eyes. if I could I would give him a zero star rating. WORST customer SERVICE have EVER!!! very uncomfortable.would NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Don’t go here if u want good ice cream/ shakes. Really rude service and terrible quality. If u r looking for a good shop don’t go here.

I hadn’t been here in years. When I started planning my latest trip to the island, I had been raving to my friend about how special this coffee shop was. As soon as we walk in, the rudest woman was standing behind the counter, arms crossed just staring at us. What happened to this place..? Seriously, management needs to fire this lady. How many more negative reviews will it take before anything is done?

Went in last night for ice cream and the woman at the counter was extremely rude. My daughter asked for a milkshake and all she said was “no”. My husband tried to make small talk with her and asked where she was from. Her response was “it does not matter.” We have been coming to Captiva for 10 years and this was the first time we have encountered terrible service. After seeing all of the complaints about her on here and Yelp, I’m shocked she still has a job. Will never go back
