Absolutely fabulous! This place is very unassuming but the food was delicious! The smoked mahi dip - oh lord - so yummy! Oh and the crab cakes - so perfect. If you are a foodie and are visiting North Captiva this is a must - visit. The food is simply prepared but light and delectable

We had dinner at Over the Waterfront and it was one of the most delicious meals we have had in a long time. Everything was fresh and delicious and we loved how small and quaint the restaurant was - it really felt like we had a personal chef cooking for us that night. Definitely need a reservation. We would be happy to come back again, what a special restaurant!

Had the cheese potato soup and the Mahi fish sandwich. Ate somewhere else today and wished I had gone back. Food was obviously prepared by a professional chef and not a line cook. Will be going back for sure. Right now is the only place on the island to dine. Awesome job all the way around.

We had not only the best service, but experience at Over the Waterfront! Our server was incredibly accommodating to our needs and gave us awesome recommendations. The grouper and sea bass was a hit among our whole family- would definitely do again!

After our last experience at a different restaurant on the island we were very hesitant to eat anywhere else however yesterday we decided to try over the waterfront for their lunch menu on the 4th and boy did they deliver. Our boys got Philly cheese steaks daughter and husband a burger and myself a chicken Caesar salad and boy was it amazing. Everything was incredible service amazing atmosphere great exactly what we expected from an island experience. Keep it up!!! And thank you for restoring our confidence for eating out on the island!

Hands down the best meal, I’ve ever had. This little place will at first make you wonder if you are in the right spot. But, the food is the best I’ve ever had. If you are in the Ft Myers area, you need to stop in and check it out.

5 stars all around! Pete the chef shows off his many years of culinary experience with his ever changing creations.... Meals that taste delicious and are beautifully presented. Shawnda and Alexis make sure everyone has what they need and their bubbly personalities add to the charm. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy the view.

We just had the most amazing experience as they went above and beyond for our daughters birthday. They had a cake there for her while we were on the island and had the whole restaurant sang to her. They cut and served the cake after even. The staff is top notch, the food is made to order and phenomenal. If you are on the island you have to go here! We made reservations ahead of time. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back when we go back to the island.
