This was a fun lunch. Our waitress was very playful. They were out of hush puppies, so she recommended the shut-up dogs. Really good food, just don't think about the calorie count. Very reasonable pricing too.
When looking for a good place in a new town for a good, high value lunch, I usually look for the place with work trucks in the parking lot. That was The Fisherman's Wife.
I highly recommend checking them out.

Great dining experience!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, we had a large party dining in and we were traveling from out of town and they went above and beyond!! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh!! Awesome fried green tomatoes!! Will definitely be back again!! Thanks again for everything!

Every thing you could ask for in a mom and pop restaurant, excellent food and service. My new favorite. Be sure to have the fried shrimp and fried oysters.
