“I have been craving chicken piccata, but too lazy to make it. I ordered directly through them for delivery and it arrived piping hot and perfect. I got it with added mushrooms and extra sauce and a side of the antipasto salad. It also came with garlic knots. The sauce was exactly how I wanted it. And the salad had the perfect amount of toppings and dressing. I called the order in and the woman that answered the phone was polite and helpful- as was the person who delivered it. I will definitely be visiting the restaurant in person, but can’t imagine it tasting better than it did delivered.“

“My daughter wanted change for the toy machines in the lobby while we waited for our pizza. We sent her to the counter with a dollar to get change. The guy working couldn’t open the drawer and walked out to his car and brought her at least $1.50 in quarters for her dollar. That was awesome of him! He could have easily told her that he couldn’t open the drawer.“

And the guy counter but i think hes a manager... super attentive and know what i order and make it on spot 100% although it changes time to time.They know me and have consideration. “Absolutely phenomenal! This has got to be the BEST pizza I’ve had in ages. We stumbled upon this gem and completely fell in love. The menu may be short, but they excel in every single thing they serve—and I’d argue they do it better than anyone else out there. We kicked things off with the Burrata with white truffle oil and Prosciutto, and it was beyond delicious—a perfect start. Then came the pizzas: the Meat Lovers and Star Luca. Unreal! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it’s hard to believe that each pizza could be as exceptional as the last. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we ended the meal with the Nutella Pizza with Bananas. How is it even possible for every single item to be this amazing? But it’s not just the food; the atmosphere and staff elevate the experience to a whole new level. Katherine, our server, was outstanding. She made us feel completely at home and had spot-on recommendations for everything. We even got to meet Marco, who may be the owner or GM, and either way, he’s clearly got a gift for running an extraordinary establishment. “The chicken quesadilla was excellent. The chef clearly proud of his food. “These are the best quesadilla in town” he said. He’s 100% correct. I don’t usually like refried beans but these were really good. Same with the rice. The hot sauces are made in house. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. The chicken was fresh abs tender. it’s more of a take out place but there are a few tables. I’ll be back….often.“

“We were recommended to try this pizza place that we had not yet been to. It was very good! Had a great hometown feel, with a cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was so warm and welcoming and gave us great recommendations. We went with a cheese pizza and garlic knots as those are our go to’s when trying a new pizza place and they did not disappoint. The knots were true knots which believe it or not can be hard to find these days, and the pizza crust was light and airy with a nice crisp. Definitely would recommend checking out if you’re looking for a great place for some NY style pizza!“

“DINNER REVIEW: ANTHONY’S THORNTON PARK PIZZERIA 100 N. Summerlin, Orlando For my first meal in a restaurant after moving back to Orlando, I happily chose Anthony’s Pizzeria in Thornton Park, at the heart of downtown Orlando, which means you can eat your delicious meal and then walk around Lake Eola to cancel those calories. When I first moved to Florida in the 1990s, I went downtown looking for a hole-in-the-wall video rental store called Angel Heart, which reputedly rented John Waters movies which weren’t available anywhere else. The bad news when i arrived was that Angel Heart was having a going-out-of-business sale; the good news was that I bought their John Waters VHS collection for less then ten dollars. As I walked back to my car, I saw a pizza place on the corner of Washington & Summerlin, and it soon became my go-to restaurant in Orlando. All these years later, Anthony’s has grown into a large and beautiful place—though I still like dining on the street side patio, and I still order my mushroom Stromboli even though the expansive menu offers a full range of Italian dinners and of course their outstanding pizza. This time I treated myself to a caprese salad Anthony’s has one of the best physical locations in the city—walkable to all of the major attractions downtown, yet still having a quiet neighborhood feeling and even having its own free parking lot, which is rare these days in the city beautiful. The food meets my exasperatingly snobby northern expectations of what Italian food should taste like, and the service is excellent. I recommend Anthony’s to everyone everywhere always.“

“Being from NJ we take our pizza seriously and this place is hands down the best place I've come across outside the NJ/NY area. I've had their Ziti, Lasagna, Chicken Marsala, and Eggplant Parm, all amazing and filling. I used to do plain pizza because their pie does not need extras, but I now add mushrooms, red onion or eggplant. Lunch line is worth the wait. I had jury duty in April and I was not surprised at the wait, not long though.“
