Visited with my husband. The service here is absolutely lovely—warm, friendly, and attentive. The cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable café experience.

Visited with family for a quick morning trip to Cedar Key. Service was good - staff welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious - had leftovers due to nicely sized portions. Coffee was yummy. Only complaint is need for better air circulation / ventilation - we ended up smelling like the food / meat that was prepared. We would return despite this - we would like to try out other options and I also like the quaintness & coziness of the place.

This is my favorite place in the island. The vibe is it. Coffee is roasted local and the flavor stands out... GET HERE!!!

So tasty we went back for lunch again the next day. Chicken salad crossaint is worth the trip on its own. Thanks for your kindness, can’t wait to visit on the next trip.

I ordered an iced americano and a bacon, egg and tomato sandwich on toast, to go. The sandwich was tasty - excellent bread in particular. To-go might not be the best option since the sandwich was wrapped in foil and was soggy after my very short drive around the corner. Coffee was good, also, and the woman taking my order was thorough and patient while I was making up my mind.

Service is not quick, however. Two tables were waiting for food ahead of me, 5 people I believe. I waited 25 minutes for my food, which was far too long for a breakfast sandwich in a moderately busy location.

I wouldn't really call this a "mercantile." All I saw for sale was a few postcards.

Such a cute spot for coffee/breakfast! Both were delicious. Highly recommend any of the croissant breakfast sandwiches. Most importantly, the customer service was exceptional. Dog friendly as well which is a plus! We will be going back!

Best bite of food in cedar key! Owner operated and you can tell by the food and service.

Delicious coffee, but I've driven in from out of town more than once, for them to be closed during their posted open hours.

My husband, teenage daughter, and myself ate breakfast there this morning. The operators were very kind and it was obvious the food and drinks were made with care. My daughter had smoked salmon bagel, husband had ham and cheese sandwich, and I had avocado toast with eggs and fruit. It was all very tasty and fresh. Our beverages were also great. We look forward to going back during our stay.

Great iced coffee, delicious egg sammies, their croissant was flaky and delicious. Plus we got to meet their adorable shop cat, Frankie. Super friendly staff. We already told Frankie we'd see him next time and I can't wait.
