“The food was really good here! The buns for sandwiches were crispy from the grill, the mac and cheese bites were the right amount of spicy, and all the desserts were amazing! I will say that sides are an upcharge and the prices are a bit high for a small business, but the quality is worth it.”
“What an AWESOME little coffee shop!!! Had an excellent experience here when passing through. The food & coffee was pretty perfect. The decor was so interesting. Such a great vibe with super nice people. Highly recommend this place… so good!”
“Sat at the bar upstairs, where you can still somewhat see out of the windows! I had the baked oysters and they were SO good! Friendly staff that works hard to make sure everyone has a positive ”
“Let me start by saying, stumbling upon the "Tiki Bar Behind Low Key Hideaway" was like a serendipitous breeze on my journey. Originally aiming for Pirates Cove, Miss Lisa's warm recommendation led me here. And what a delightful surprise it turned out to be!Firstly, a shoutout to the star of my visit, Laela. Her Bloody Mary is a must-try, setting the tone for an evening of relaxation and laughter. With each sip of her expertly crafted "Pain Killer," courtesy of her confident mixology skills, I found myself immersed in the laid-back vibe of Cedar Key. The on-site food wagon, as suggested by Laela, served up mouthwatering pulled pork, elevating the experience even further.Extending my stay was an easy decision, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere fostered by owner Mr. Scott and his exceptional staff. While I may not recall every name, Mitra's vibrant spirit and engaging conversations stood out amidst the lively ambiance. The renowned Bloody Marys and Rum Runners are truly worth the visit, but it's the personal touch, exemplified by Mr. Scott's arrangement of "Lenny's Tiki Taste Tour" food truck, that sets this place apart. As the sun sets over this hidden gem, the tranquility envelops you, offering a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In fact, the ambiance is so captivating that one can't help but imagine Hemingway himself opting for this tranquil haven over the more famed Key West. With reasonably priced cabins and ample RV sites, this oasis ensures a peaceful escape for all.In essence, the "Tiki Bar Behind Low Key Hideaway" isn't just a bar – it's an experience. From the soulful concoctions to the picturesque setting, every aspect resonates with the essence of Cedar Key's charm. So, if you're seeking solace off the beaten path, look no further. This is where unforgettable memories are made.Rooms: The rooms are amazing thought out! Very comfortableFood & drinks: Adult drinks servedNoteworthy details: The sunsets! The drinks! “Move over, Carrabba's.....when you're here at 2nd Street Cafe, YOU'RE FAMILY! Welcoming staff. Even when they're in the weeds, they're pleasant and attentive. Food is always yummy and great portions. My little girl aspires to work here someday-- that's how much we love our 2nd Street peeps and our breakfast dates. Highly recommend!”
“Highly recommend!! Great customer service. There was a mixup with my shipping (my own fault) which delayed my order. They fixed it and even went above and beyond correcting my mistake. Will definitely order from them again!!”
“This is one of the best bars I've ever been in. It is eclectic and the owners are great. The pictures and stories they can tell are overwhelming. Step outside with your drinks and a smoke and do some people watching.......GO TO BONISH.....”
“Best clam chowder there is. I had the shrimp poboy that was delicious. Hubby had cheeseburger. Great food and service. Brought some chowder home with me. Highly recommend.”
“We had some of the most amazing desserts delivered from Cedar Key island bakery. My husband and I are very picky and the apple pie and cinnamon rolls were some of the best we’ve ever had. The cookies are great too. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Cedar Key Island bakery!”
“I met my friend from Alabama in cedar key for my German shepherd s first bd. First off they spoiled Ringo rotten. We ate what tasted like the freshest sea food I have ever had. The service was great. Passing the bar on the way out. My pup went up to a man sitting at the bar. These two just meltd together. At first it was a little uncomfortable, but found out the man's pup of 12 years had just crossed the bridge. It was a beautiful moment in time.I hope I never forget it”
“This a really cool spot to hang out. Folks from all walks of life enjoy beverages and conversation together as the local bar cats patrol the environment. Excellent gulf views and frequent Dolphin sightings. The owners are great and do a lot of fundraising for and donating to the community. Think globally, act locally!”
“The staff is terrific! The food was fantastic and all for reasonable prices! Great views! Super accommodating! we love Steamers for our yearly Stilettos on Steel Female Motorcycle Group gathering in January! We had 30 people and our food was delivered very quickly even though between our group and other customers the restaurant was full! Highly reccomend Steamers to everyone! Exceptional!”
