Chef - always on the lookout for that special restaurant where exceptional prepared food and ambiance and great service meet my expectations for that five star rating - I found it in Crystal River Fl. at the “ Vintage at Fifth” . From the salads the appetizers, the crispy Duck, the Rib Eye Steak even the Macaroni Chicken Cheese dish all were superb. My compliments to the Chef and management for their dedication to excellence!”

“Excellent food and service. We tried clam chowder and crab bisque. Both were awesome and loaded with seafood. Grouper was awesome. Crab stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon a must. Kaitlin was attentive and informative. Lovely girl. This place is worth the drive to Ozello.”

“I’ve been meeting my husband and friends here about once a week for lunch for the last 2 months. My husband loves the chicken breast sandwich, and I love the chicken salad sandwich. We usually grab a smoothie. I walk away feeling good about what I’ve eaten, and I can’t say that very often after eating out.”

“I was looking for a new Thai restaurant , my regular place had changed owners and changed quality.
Thai Phoon I ordered Pork Pad Thai. This was completely different flavor and style. The pork pieces were very large compared to my other Thai restaurant. This had much cabbage, with other veggies. The item portion was less then my previous restaurant. The complimentary cup of Thai chicken rice soup was excellent. It had a lot of chicken, body and flavor. My previous Thai restaurant soup was very thin and water down, the last time i had it tasted like dish water, could not find any chicken, and little rich. I can recommend this place. My lunch was $11.99 to high in my opinion for noodles”

“Prime location right on the water and facing west for gorgeous sunsets. You can reserve a table in the main restaurant, or grab an open table (first-come-first-serve) at the bar area at the end of the pier. We chose the latter. Same menu at both restaurant and bar area. Food is good and fairly priced, though not exceptional. Good drinks. Note that it can get windy at the pier so bring a sweater and no hats 😊”

“Beautiful authentic Mexican restaurant. The food portions are great for the price. Almost all surfaces inside the building have Mexican art. The staff is fantastic, they treat you to an experience. “Our daughter got married in Citrus County this past weekend. Copp winery was a great place to hang out with family and friends over the weekend. We had teens with us who were able to enjoy food and non alcoholic drinks and games. We loved the “Speakeasy” room. Lots of fun and laughter…oh and great beer and wine too!”

“We are from North Carolina and chose Brother's Pizza or our last night in Crystal River. My 9 year old loved his small cheese pizza and bread sticks! The dough tastes fantastic and is freshly made. We ordered the steak and mushroom salad and the portions were huge! Our server Ryan was very personable and helpful. If we come to Crystal River again we'll definitely be back!”

“In a small shopping plaza in Crystal River, you will find this sports bar and grill called Lollygaggers. We have seen this restaurant a few times, and from the outside, it doesn't look like much, but don't let that deter you. The restaurant is bigger than it looks, and if you like sports, there are enough tvs throughout the restaurant to watch anything you enjoy. Our waitress was friendly and greeted as soon as we sat down. If you like fried pickles, then you have got to try theirs. They are awesome. Hubby got a cup of their chili it wasn't bad, but it was too tomatoey for us. I had the pork cordon bleu it was tender and juicy, and their house made coleslaw is terrific. Hubby had the Italian grinder, he ate the whole thing, and was scrapping up the droppings. Lol. Our overall experience was wonderful, and we will be back when we are down that way. They also have daily specials.”

“Ordered pizza from Little Caesars, it’s only 9 miles from our house, convenient. It’s been quite awhile since we ate their pizza so we ordered an Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni pizza, comes in large, we ordered it well done for 14.65. Located at the end of a strip mall, plenty of parking and the place was very clean! Husband got there a few minutes early and they were very busy, employees seemed very organized and pleasant. 5 min later the pizza was done and ready to go at the promised time. Pizza was piping hot when we got home and opened the box and it was full of cheese and a huge amount of pepperoni, wow!! It was just delicious and cooked perfectly, we were very pleased. Great pizza at a GREAT price!! Will order again very soon, check them out, I am glad I did!! Debbie 🍕”

“being new to the area I wasn't sure where to go for Chinese food. I just got takeout at Mr. King and ordered beef lo mein, a spring roll and chicken wings.
The place doesn't look like much from the outside, it's very small and out of the way. but the food is delicious! The beef lo mein is the best I've ever had, and I'm an avid Chinese food eater. there was plenty of beef and it was very fresh and seasoned perfectly. coming from the north I was spoiled with a lot of good food around... I have now found my Chinese food spot in Crystal River! I highly recommend!”

The drive-thru was packed with customers, and I absolutely needed a #7! So I had no problem parking and heading inside to place an order. Once inside, I honestly was taken a back at how pleasant the overall environment was. Taking orders took much longer than I had anticipated, but as I waited I grew impressed at how effective Joshua was, running this place like a friendly homestyle cafè. Additionally, he was advising two courteous self motivated trainees Karen & John. Assisting the drive-thru employee. All while cooking the orders and ASSURING all customers he had their backs.

And he did! He made my breakfast sandwich customed to exactly how I wanted it, in no time flat!! Despite my order tasted like is was prepared in a homestyle cafè, and all customers in the lobby were enjoying the great vibes.”

“The only reason I give it a 1 is because the Lasagna was good. Otherwise, it would get a 0 because of the way this arrogant owner treats his customers. Aside from being made to wait at the entrance while he clearly noticed us before finally coming over and saying “Whadda ya want?”, it would take too long to describe his confrontational attitude in response to simply asking about the Lasagna for takeout for four people. You also have to know that you will likely be overcharged. The menu says for $1.99, you can get a salad as a side with an entree. We ordered four salads with the Lasagnas and were charged $5.99 for each…a $16.00 overcharge. I don’t know how he stays in business being so rude and dishonest. We will never go back.”
