“We heard about The Biscuit Barn through a friend and had to come try it out! Our waitress was super sweet and very quick with our service. We are so glad we stopped in!!! I got "The Barn" specialty biscuit (because how do you go to the biscuit barn and not get a biscuit?). It had bacon, egg, and cheese and I got a side of sausage gravy and boy was it good! The biscuit was buttery and flaky and delicious! We will definitely be back!** Also pictured a Breakfast Scramble with bacon, tomato, spinach, and cheese.”

“Oh, my goodness! Such awesome food! Recommended by the folks at Sweet Citrus Acres RV Park! We are traveling to Tampa and spending the night in Crystal River. Just had Seller's Shrimp and my husband had the Catfish Louisiann! Both of us are very satisfied and have another meal to take home as leftovers! Wow! I don't like beer at all, but the writer assured me I wouldn't taste beer. He was right on. It was delicious! The catfish had a delicious crabcake and etoufe on top that was mouth watering! Highly recommend! Worth the wait! The Seller's Hurricane was also delicious!”

“Our Favorite local place to eat. Newly re- modeled. We had dinner & drinks at bar on Tuesday afternoon. Had great fresh raw gulf oysters and wagyu burger. Fresh seafood delivered that morning! Very pleasant dining experience.”

“Family owned restaurant husband and wife. The service was great. I had the Beef Lumpia for an appetizer and I had their special Walleye blacked with rice and vegetables. The food was out standing. The owner was behind the bar and his wife waited on us who were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very nice with brick walls and a tin ceiling. They had all kinds of bottles of wine on the walls and a full bar. There was outside sitting but we chose inside because it was a little too warm outside. We are in down only visiting but would make this a regular to eat at.”

“We stopped by for lunch today and since the weather was bad the parking lot was empty. We weren't sure if the place was open, so my wife went in to ask. The male waiter made a sparky comment to her because there were 2 people sitting at a table eating. Luckily, she didn't tell me when she came back out or we would have left. By luckily, I mean that the food was great. There were 3 of us, and we had the grouper sandwich, shrimp basket and a shrimp poorboy. The onion rings might have been the best we've ever had, and the remainder of the food wasn't far behind. Excuse me for not knowing the name of the waiter who was rude to my wife, but he waited on us and and did a good job. We are looking forward to coming back and I hope he reads this and thinks before making rude comments to a potential customer again.”

“It was our first time ever at Grannie's. It was very popular. The atmosphere is that of a dinner. Nothing fancy. Our service was great with fast food and our young server was quick and pleasant. I didn't care for my French toast it was bland for my taste but my wife and granddaughter liked their breakfasts. If we get back that way again it will be on our radar to return to Grannie's.”

“We found this place online and were very happy we stopped for ice cream! They have a bunch of different flavors, and the scoop sizes are generous! The environment is fun and colorful, with music and art. It's a great place for kids. For adults who are interested, they even have "adult flavors." We got to talk to the owner, and he works hard to provide wonderful service to everyone who comes in. All the ice cream is made in store fresh, and it is evident because the ice cream is delicious. The prices are very good as well. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great treat.”

“I'm from New York and whenever I come to Crystal River to visit family, I make at least one stop at cattle dog! It's great coffee with fun seasonal drinks, I've never had the same drink twice. Just got a fluffy bunny: toasted marshmallow and caramel. If you don't like the sweet stuff that's fine because again, it's great coffee and they have so many blends. If you enjoy it as much as I do, they have so many kinds of beans in bags to go. They'll grind the beans for you and everything.Food rocks too! The rotation of pastries has a mix of simple and funky options. Lots of yummy sandwiches. I got a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant today, which is cheaper than the one I got at Dunkin yesterday and like 10x better.The people are consistently lovely too, great service every time I've visited. And with my visits being spread out over the last 3 years, I think that says something about management.If you're visiting CR, make a stop at cattle dog and support these lovely people! Perfect place for a quick brunch before an adventure or to grab drinks to go and walk around town.”

“One of my favorite salad bars around. This vast salad bar includes fresh queso, chips, redneck stew, county style chili, fresh fruits and desserts. Their smoked meats and bbq sauces are amazing. Great family place but also good for date nights. This time I gave their mega bloody mary a try. It knocked my socks off. So flavorful and yummy. It included a bacon wrapped jalapeno popper , steak, olives, bacon and steak all for 12 bucks. Let me tell you I got full off the drink alone. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive.”

“Needed something special for Easter Sunday dessert and boy did Queen of Cakes deliver! We got some cupcakes and cookies and I have never tasted such amazing desserts - fresh ingredients and not overly sugary either. The owner is so amazing and her family run business is very clean and inviting. My husband and I will make this shop a regular stop for special occasions - and on days we are craving that something extra. Give this place a try, it is such a better alternative than grocery store bakeries or pre-packaged desserts. Plus it is great to support local businesses such as these.”

“I heard about this place from some friends. I finally went. Great atmosphere, very friendly place. The bartender , Marissa, was fantastic. She was super friendly and full of energy. Not to busy when I got here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, but it got full very quickly. Very large selection of spirits and beers. I had the lobster roll (cold) which was awesome. “The food is fresh and excellent. The prices are more reasonable than many of their competitors. There are some older reviews that ding them for the atmosphere, but if you look at the dates on those, it's a long time ago. We found this to be more of a mom and pop type restaurant which is a good thing for us as we prefer mom and pop pop restaurants over big chains. The food was very good and we will be back from more.”

“Are you kidding me? Is this place for real? Did I really just have one of the best tea experiences of my life in Crystal River, Florida? Wow! I can't believe this! I had a chicken salad sandwich on gluten-free bread with a London fog That was absolutely delicious. I bought some of their Earl Gray to go. This was such a delightful surprise. They had little trinkets and soaps and other things to look at and shop for while I waited. There's lots of cute tables in an adorable room that is decorated beautifully. Also, I saw you could sit outside if you wanted... When I got home I tried the tea I had bought and it's some of the best t I've ever had! I can't wait to come back through town and visit again. If you have gluten-free allergies or dietary restrictions, this is the place for you! Lots of ways to feed yourself and not have to worry about your digestion. “I’m here from Buffalo, NY visiting my best girlfriend in the area and we just came in for dinner with 5 kids in tow! Gabby was so welcoming and great with our rowdy table. The place was clean and cozy and smelled like smoky BBQ heaven! We enjoyed everything we ate from the homemade pork rinds (tried ALL the sauces on the table!) and all the smoky meats. The kids cleaned their plates as did the adults. My favorite was the brisket, but everything was excellent. The price for 7 of us to eat (and carry home another meals worth of leftovers) was more than reasonable. I couldn’t believe this place was not packed. We’ll be back for sure! “We had Taylor as our waiter. He was on it ! Our food was really good, I had chicken , bourbon chicken with shrimp and baby red potatoes, my husband had a bacon burger and fries . We go here almost every weekend and 1st time with Taylor so it was just yesterday and I remember his name, but we usually do a high top table which means the bartender, whoever is the pretty,thin blonde bartender, don't remember her name but always on it !! Friendly and good food. I like the atmosphere there. ? Thank you all! And I can't forget the brunette girl who works there and usually waits on us to the left side of bar where the booths are when you walk in , the left side when you come into Applebee's, but she's really really great as well! Nobody's perfect, but I can say if you don't find it perfect , they will gladly fix it to your liking. “Pizza is great. The store is still new and has a lot of bugs to work out. I ordered through the app for a curbside pick-up. Due to the fact, I had just broken my toe. I pulled up right in front and hit the " I'm here". I saw what looked like my order being put in the waiting-to-be-picked-up area. I waited about 5 minutes and no one brought my order. I headed into the store and waited. When I told them my name, sure enough, that was my order sitting there. If they offer a curbside pickup they need to be more aware of it, or don't offer it.”

The lady who works there was very nice and accommodating. They forgot one of our rice orders one time out of the many times we've been there and they made it right with us the next time we ordered! They know customer service, and have good Chinese food!”

“It's a very nice Subway - big, nice to eat inside, plenty of parking and the food is always fresh and good. The only 'even better if' is the mixture of staff (from great to average) and the need to make the operation a little easier to understand, especially when things are super busy and the line is long. The first time I ordered on the app here and went inside to pick up, I didn't realize the app orders were on the other side of the building in the Drive-Thru area and had to wait through the entire line to get my order which was now cold. A heads up to drive through on app orders would have been great along with a sign on the walk in side. Tonight was quiet. The person making our meal was fabulous. It was veggie and he was careful to rinse the knife that had just been used on meat before slicing our sub. Well done. The person checking out had to be called over, seemed distracted and not the customer service minded team member who'd just impressed us so much. It's a great facility, has some great people and just needs management to motivate and train everyone to a standard befitting this excellent location.”

“Our food was excellent....I'm thinking the crab cakes were the best I've had!! The problem was the timing of how the food was delivered. Two salads came out about 10 minutes before the other 4 were, so the 4 people that got their salads later got about 3 bites before our dinners were brought out. “Not sure if we timed it right or what. But we visited this for the first time after moving to the area two years ago. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and delicious. While we were stuck next to who might have been a manager as the cook brought out food for this guy to try and the staff followed like circling vultures to get their taste tests in too. They were respectful of us as patrons and we enjoyed the outside seating at the bar top. We ordered simple like we always do when trying a new place... the grilled cheese with a side salad and the Sausage Adouille. Both came out perfect. We also ordered the pickle fries which if you like pickles and you like them fried too can be super hit or miss. These were a hit! Everything has the perfect seasoning and non of it left us mad at our dinner choice. We will be back....”

The man at the drive thru answered pleasantly and took our order so obviously you weren't closed. Our food was good and the man that Waited on us was kind. You will want to make sure your hours are updated because most people will just write you off when it says your closed.”

“This morning I awoke to tragedy and despair as I stubbed my big toe against the roomba cleaning robot. It got worse when my three year old would not listen to me. He wouldn’t because he says, “your not my real dad!” I was very depressed. Out of sheer desperation I decided to make myself feel better by getting some delicious Mac and cheese bites. When I pulled up to the window to pay I was told by the angel there that “I RULE!” I said, “surely I don’t.” But the nice lady reassured me that I ruled everywhere, not just Burger King. This gave me courage to confront my 3 year-old and our Roomba cleaning robot. I took them both to Burger King and got Cheese Bites for the whole family. Overall, the food was great- the people and team at Burger King even better!! I recommend the 2 for $5 chicken wrap!”
