“A mainstay when we visit the area. A "no-frills" establishment that offers local catches and cold beer. What's not to like? They do cash only, so plan ahead, but there's an ATM onsite if needed.”

“The steamed shrimp was bathed in a garlic-butter sauce and was outstanding in flavor! The mahi mahi fish taco was topped with mango chunks and cheese creating a nice contrasting flavor. The seating is rustic adding to a great meal experience. Overall, we all agreed that the Wild Sassa food was a great find and the dishes cooked are out of this world. We give them 3 Michelin stars! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️”

“I wish I could give the food 10 stars!! I had the shrimp tacos and the shrimp were so fresh I’m surprised they did wiggle off the plate.Even better were the fried plantains— omg, served with a nice, slightly spicy sauce. Incredible.The atmosphere is perfect, like being in Puerto Rico, you can def lose yourself here.At another table they were exclaiming over the homemade ice cream, but I was too full. There must have been 15 or more shrimp on my tacos.Please excuse the picture of the plantains, as you can see, they disappeared. I don’t know what happened.”

“I have lived in Citrus County for most of my life, yet I have never been here. I was definitely missing out on something great! The experience was incredible and the service was top-notch. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home. I can't wait to try other things on the menu, as I heard that the dinner is amazing. Our next visit is definitely going to be for dinner! “Service was great. Bathrooms were clean. $32 for a Biscuit Sandwich w Bacon and cold Meatloaf on Toast (2 fountain drinks) was a little high imo. Left still hungry and lighter in the pockets.”

“This place really made you feel like you were at home! The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly and attentive.The food was great, our table had a little bit of everything - hummus, shrimp and grits, grilled ham and cheese with tomato soup, salads, peanut butter pie. It was nothing but SPECTACULAR! I would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed lunch or dinner that does not disappoint.The other good part is the food is made there and healthy options, so you don't leave feeling bad about what you ate.I'm glad Citrus County has a place like this!”

“Visited with a big group of friends for a bday party. My husband got a burger and I tried the catfish. I'll definitely try the shrimp and grits next time. We did get ours to go so we could go across the street, but the wait staff were great while we waited for our food. I can tell they have an excellent relationship. You cam always tell if a place is a good place to work by the relationship between the staff. ? So, we'll definitely return!”

“Love this place!! I go on a Sunday afternoons sometimes to meet family and have a great time. Food and service are good and the atmosphere is awesome. Live Music on Sundays too. Our server Alise was amazing and such a breath of fresh air!!Parking: Depending on what time of day you go parking can sometimes be difficult but they have two over flow lots you just have to walk a little further.Kid-friendliness: They have a pirate ship play ground for the kids while you wait.”
