“Updated 2024. Crump's has done a great job of customer seating now which I am extremely thankful for. The atmosphere here in Citrus County is amazing tropical vibe. Great play area for the young ones. Drinks are great, food is great. Bang bang shrimp is a favorite. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly highly recommend a nice lunch or dinner here. It's all outdoor seating but plenty of shade under large tiki and huge and small fans everywhere.

“Great waterfront bar easily accessible from the Homosassa River. The food was better than I’ve had elsewhere and the service was fast and friendly. The live music was fun and there’s a near little playground for the kids. They have seating under the patio near the bar or along the docks with a great view of the water, Monkey Island and plenty of birdwatching. We’ll be back!“

The owner, Basil, stopped by our table and we had some great conversations. We can’t wait to return and try so many things on the menu.“

“The food was very good, but the service was disappointing. Our server took our order, then she left after she delivered our food. No one else came to our table during our meal. My husband’s drink sat empty for well over half of the meal, and although other employees passed our table, no one stopped or even looked our way. It was not an issue of being too busy, as several groups of regulars that the staff knew by name received prompt and frequent attention during our time at the restaurant. I was a server for over 14 years, and because of that I always give a lot of grace. I understand that sometimes oversights can happen, and I thought that maybe the other servers didn’t realize that our table belonged to the server that had left. When I approached the bar to ask for a box and our check, I explained that I believed our server had left, and the reply was, “I know, what can I do for you?” If the waitstaff knows that a table is being left without a server at the beginning of their meal, arrangements should be made for another server to care for that table. It should not be the guest’s responsibility to chase down service, so to discover that the other servers knew that ours had gone and still no one stopped by for our entire meal left us frustrated. I still recommend the food, as we enjoyed everything we ordered, but my husband is not interested in returning due to the service.“
