I did the lunch special and got sweat and sour chicken with pork fried rice, hubs got garlic chicken with pork fried rice, and an order of crab Rangoons. I will say that the Rangoons were delicious but could use a teeny bit more filling. The lunch specials were awesome. Holy heck on the portion, and as I'm not a huge fan of rice- I got to say I quite enjoyed the rice as well and ate enough that my husband was surprised LOLOL they also gave us a lot of soup which was very nice of them. I'm surprised to see the 3.4 rating as I seriously had no complaints (even with the Rangoon filling being low, they tasted great and were super crunchy. I ate four in one sitting) two huge lunches would've been $20 if I had not added the Rangoons, so to me this is a deal!!“

The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the rice paired perfectly with the rich gravy, and even the vegetables were well seasoned. The Wild Berry Pomegranate Punch was the perfect refreshing addition to the meal.(and I don’t even like pomegranate) Everything tasted homemade and made with care. Portions were generous, the food was fresh, and every bite was delicious. A special note: my grandmother owned restaurants her entire life before she passed away, and she was incredibly particular about good food. She used to send me every week to pick up Southern Palate’s meatloaf because it was one of her absolute favorites. That alone says a lot about the quality and consistency of the food here. “cute place, great food. the rooms can be small however. we were a party of 2, enjoying our meal and conversation. a party of 4 was seated in the room with us and 3 out of the 4 had no inside voices. common decency to speak in lower tones would have been greatly appreciated. they were regulars and made sure everyone knew. it would be nice if the restaurant could add some noise dampeners in the rooms.“

“We usually dont complain about our meals but Kim's has to be the worst breakfast place in citrus county. We order our drinks which was a small oj and a diet coke and the oj was no bigger than a salt Shaker and a LARGE milk . Our food was nothing crazy cornedbeef hash well done potatoes well done with a biscut and a side of gravy along with a southern omelette i asked to replace the peppers with mushrooms and the waitress said there would be a up charge (whatever no biggie but dumb) potatoes well done and pancakes. Nothing was well done, my pancakes were so rubbery they seem like they came out of a microwave and my diet coke sat empty until my husband had to ask. The waitress who took our order never came back to check on us and like the prior person's comment our check was at our table immediately.We did say something while we were there and the best they could do is take 2 bucks off our meal. The money isnt the issue, its the fact they take no pride in their resturant. I dont understand how the place was full. We are locals and love our breakfast spots but unfortunately there is nothing they could do to make us return.“

“Pine Street is reliable little pub. I've been there several times over the last few years. The food is good and the drinks are delicious. They have special ales that I quite enjoy. The waitresses are kind. The only downfall are the long wait times for food. The baked cheese is my absolute favorite, but it is not always in stock. Solid place. The lady at the front was very sweet and thorough repeating the order to make sure everything was correct. Food took about 10 to 15 min to make as expected. Food was delicious and the portions were large enough for plenty of leftovers. The prices were very cheap with most dinner combos averaging $12, about the same as one would pay at fast food places. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food including the kids“

“This woman-owned business doesn’t get the business it deserves. We stopped in after months of me wanting to go and they did not disappoint!!! The atmosphere is adorable with a giant Christmas tree in the middle of the place. The hot cocoa has a warm, cozy touch that reminds you of home on Christmas morning. I had a plain bagel with the cranberry, almond and walnut cream cheese and it blew my mind. The tres leches was so good too.

They genuinely love children and have books for kids, coloring sheets and friendly staff there.

It was slightly chilled by the time it got here, but that is Door Dash's fault for sending the driver to deliver another order in the opposite direction first. This is my go-to chinese takeout place whenever I'm on this side of the county but have been finding myself driving the distance to get great food.“
