“The oxtails were absolutely incredible, fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the rice paired perfectly with the rich gravy, and even the vegetables were well seasoned. The Wild Berry Pomegranate Punch was the perfect refreshing addition to the meal.(and I don’t even like pomegranate) Everything tasted homemade and made with care. Portions were generous, the food was fresh, and every bite was delicious. A special note: my grandmother owned restaurants her entire life before she passed away, and she was incredibly particular about good food. She used to send me every week to pick up Southern Palate’s meatloaf because it was one of her absolute favorites. That alone says a lot about the quality and consistency of the food here. Definitely one of the best soul food meals I’ve had in a long time. I’ll absolutely be ordering again! ❤️🍽️🥘🥰“

“What a cute place. Headed back home and the fam was hungry. We almost turned around because it was packed at 9am, so glad we did not. Food was fresh cooked and delicious. The staff checked on every table constantly while we were dining. They were so sweet. Drinks never got to half full before another came. Restaurant was very clean and patriotic. Thanks!“

“we ate there previously when it was under a different owner ship and now with the new owner it was an even better experience as the food was excellent as always but the owner gave us a round of free thai tea and found it to be excellent .Everything moved quickly and service was great especially for a table of ten.“

“I got a to-go order and tried this place for the first time today. Got to say- I truly enjoyed it. I did the lunch special and got sweat and sour chicken with pork fried rice, hubs got garlic chicken with pork fried rice, and an order of crab Rangoons. I will say that the Rangoons were delicious but could use a teeny bit more filling. The lunch specials were awesome. Holy heck on the portion, and as I'm not a huge fan of rice- I got to say I quite enjoyed the rice as well and ate enough that my husband was surprised LOLOL they also gave us a lot of soup which was very nice of them. I'm surprised to see the 3.4 rating as I seriously had no complaints (even with the Rangoon filling being low, they tasted great and were super crunchy. I ate four in one sitting) two huge lunches would've been $20 if I had not added the Rangoons, so to me this is a deal!!“
