From the salads the appetizers, the crispy Duck, the Rib Eye Steak even the Macaroni Chicken Cheese dish all were superb. My compliments to the Chef and management for their dedication to excellence!“

“We heard about The Biscuit Barn through a friend and had to come try it out! Our waitress was super sweet and very quick with our service. We are so glad we stopped in!!! I got "The Barn" specialty biscuit (because how do you go to the biscuit barn and not get a biscuit?). It had bacon, egg, and cheese and I got a side of sausage gravy and boy was it good! The biscuit was buttery and flaky and delicious! We will definitely be back!** Also pictured a Breakfast Scramble with bacon, tomato, spinach, and cheese.“

“Granny makes a great breakfast. Local restaurant with breakfast better than grandma used to make. My over medium eggs were done to perfection. Home fries were great. Bacon was perfect (asked for crispy and got crispy - (not burnt and not soggy - you get more than what is in the picture, I started eating before I thought to take a pic). Wheat Toast was even worth writing about. Came to the table hot and buttered and toasted perfectly. My wife had scrambled eggs and pancake with her bacon and home fries. Excellent as well. Server and hostess were friendly, Made you feel at home. Food came out fast with no problems at all. Highly recommend for anyone visiting crystal river area. This place is a must for breakfast.“

“I must admit, the food was so good, I dug in before I could took a photo. Our lunch was delicious and came with a little spring egg roll and soup. The portion size was perfect for lunch.We also really enjoyed the sangria, it tasted like it was infused with fruit.Lunch for 4, 2 apps, and 2 drinks was under $60.“

“We are from the New England seacoast area. We were very impressed with the preparation of the seafood. I had the whole belly clams and they were excellent. My husband had the blackened shrimp tacos and they were fantastic. We will definitely go again, and recommend Dan's to our seafood loving friends!“

There are some older reviews that ding them for the atmosphere, but if you look at the dates on those, it's a long time ago. We found this to be more of a mom and pop type restaurant which is a good thing for us as we prefer mom and pop pop restaurants over big chains. “Best Mexican food ive ever had and ive been to Oaxaca twice.Served fresh tortilla chips and fresh house salsa after a short wait it was a full house but everything was phenominal.Service was impeccable despite our party containing the most difficult woman ive ever met. Steamed dumplings are beautiful, perfect not too thin not too thick dough and delicate but flavorful filling. Everything on menu is superbly done. Kid-friendliness: This restaurant has always been very kid friendly. My children are almost grown but they have been going here for years with us and never had an issue. The staff went out of their way to be very nice to them.“

“We are from North Carolina and chose Brother's Pizza or our last night in Crystal River. My 9 year old loved his small cheese pizza and bread sticks! The dough tastes fantastic and is freshly made. We ordered the steak and mushroom salad and the portions were huge! Our server Ryan was very personable and helpful. If we come to Crystal River again we'll definitely be back!“

“The only reason I give it a 1 is because the Lasagna was good. Otherwise, it would get a 0 because of the way this arrogant owner treats his customers. Aside from being made to wait at the entrance while he clearly noticed us before finally coming over and saying “Whadda ya want?”, it would take too long to describe his confrontational attitude in response to simply asking about the Lasagna for takeout for four people. You also have to know that you will likely be overcharged. The menu says for $1.99, you can get a salad as a side with an entree. We ordered four salads with the Lasagnas and were charged $5.99 for each…a $16.00 overcharge. I don’t know how he stays in business being so rude and dishonest. We will never go back.“
