“We just left Deep South FamilyBBQ. The food was excellent. For a small restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised that each course came out when needed and everything was hot, not spicy hot. That is the first time we have encountered that in Florida. Fried green tomatoes were perfect, the ribs were moist, the sides were like homemade, and the fried peach pie was to die for… We will be back.“

“Last Saturay we worked at Simpson Lakes as the kitchen staff for the Republican event. The catering staff was Carrabbas headed by Ms. Tammy Kelly....This staff was SO nice, helpful and professional ....and even left our crew of 7 with a dinner and salad in the coolers to take home. “I arrived just around 4pm on a Saturday and there was already a wait starting to build at the hostess stand. Since I was willing to take a high-top, however, I was seated immediately.

After getting settled, Shannon came over and introduced herself as my server, took my drink order, and asked if I wanted their (legendary) complementary croissants, which I declined. Shannon returned quickly with my drink, and since I already knew what I wanted, I placed my order for a chicken tenders platter (with fries and broccoli as my two sides) and a side salad to start.

Within just a few minutes, my salad was brought to the table. The salad was basic, with the usual ingredients - greens, carrot strings, cherry tomatoes, croutons, cheese. Everything tasted fresh and crispy and I really don't have much more to say about the salad.

Shortly after finishing my salad, my entree was delivered. Everything was as expected and did not disappoint. The broccoli was nicely seasoned and steamed to perfection. The fries crispy but may have been a tad too salty for my taste. The chicken tenders (five in total) were perfect - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Owing to Cheddar's usual generous portions I was able to bring half the meal home as leftovers.

Shannon was a great server - friendly, attentive, and (important for me) quick on the soda refills.

If you are in the mood for good sized portions of quality comfort food at a reasonable price, don't sleep on Cheddar's. They are worth a visit.“

“We attended their 25th anniversary celebration pairings. The food and drinks were beyond delicious. However the best part of the experience are the people. All the employees, led by Jessica and Nikki, made it so much fun. They are real people who go so far out of their way to make sure their diners are well taken care of. Nikki even remembered my husband is allergic to crab and made sure his dishes were crab free. Jessica seems to be everywhere, taking care of everyone at the same time. It's amazing to see. They are what make it worthwhile to attend. Thank you.“

“I found 5 Hungry Howie's boxes of rotten food on my front door step that they delivered to the wrong house from a day ago. There was ants and flies and food all over. I called the store and the manager said there is nothing she can do for me and she would have the owner call. The owner never called. So after calling back 5 hours later the owner says clean your mess up and don't call back and hung up the phone. Don't deal with this business and rude owner. There are plenty of good family run restaurants in Brooksville.“

“It would be 5 stars but the lady that attended my wife and my mother in law was very rude, we ordered over the phone at 9pm and the lady said will be ready in 5 minutes, well, the drive takes 15 minutes, when got there the place was closed already, even though it says it closes at 9:30pm, when my mother in law inquired why it was closed already, this lady rudely replied “I told you 5 minutes”. Somebody should teach her how to treat customers.“

“I recently had dinner at BOSS Tea and Pho with my sister. I ordered the Golden mousse milk tea while my sister opted for the jasmine tea, both were delicious. For starters, we tried the chicken wontons which were crispy and flavorful. For my main course, I had the large Mongolian Beef with jasmine rice and soup, a generous portion with delicious flavors. My sister ordered the seafood and egg noodles, enjoying the seafood and noodles but finding the squid a bit chewy. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we had an overall enjoyable experience. We definitely plan on returning in the future.“

“Really nice southwestern grill. On Mondays they offer a burrito special for a reasonable discount. The burrito is fixed to order and is absolutely HUGE. With a side of nachos and sauces included the meal will fill you up for the day. Great job Moe's!“
