I have been a fan of Deep South since the week they opened.Whether you order the fried green tomatoes or bacon wrapped tater tots to start your meal or you just pop in for a sweet tea and banana pudding, everything is delicious.The service is great because of their friendly and polite team.Kid-friendliness: Activities in the outside seating area will keep the little one's busy.
Best brisket I've had. Have been here several times and never disappointed. My wife and I will drive here from Crystal River just for the brisket. Finishing off the meal with banana pudding.

We just left Deep South FamilyBBQ. The food was excellent. For a small restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised that each course came out when needed and everything was hot, not spicy hot. That is the first time we have encountered that in Florida. Fried green tomatoes were perfect, the ribs were moist, the sides were like homemade, and the fried peach pie was to die for… We will be back.
