“2024-01-26: I took my mom out to lunch today to Oliver's Bar and Grill. There is no sign outside that says Oliver's, but it is located inside of the Spruce Creek Country Club building. We arrived at 2:15 pm and the place was packed. We were a little concerned that it would be a long wait to get our food because nobody else had food. I guess the golfers had just finished and were meeting to tally up their cards. It was fairly noisy in there, but one loud-mouth at the next table almost tempted us to leave. We ordered Clam Chowder, Pretzel Bites, and Onion Rings. My mom had the Fish and Chip special and I had the Big Boss Burger. By the time our food arrived, the place completely cleared out. The food was excellent. Kara was our waitress and was absolutely fantastic! Despite the full house, she took our order quickly and amazingly, she did not let my cup of sweet tea go empty. The place went from completely packed to clean tables in 45 minutes. Other than the loud-mouth, my only complaint was that the menu was filthy and sticky.“
“The staff and atmosphere were amazing. The food was good. The BEST gator bites I've had in a LONG time. Highly recommend them. The spicely burger was delicious!Could have used a pinch more seasoning on the side/appetizer options. For example the corn nuggets would have been perfect with a little seasoning inside with the corn. The tots needed a little salt when they came out of the fryer so it clings better. Adding salt after the fact kind of just bounces off.Other than that, it was a great experience. Oh and the signature drink (the Dallise) was amazing! What an excellent combination. Must try!“
“Sat at the drive thru for 10 minutes. It was 4 pm and shift change. No one took our order. Finally, my husband called to inform the staff that the line for drive thru wrapped around the restaurant. That's the way we were able to place our order.“
“36 ladies from the group 'Ladies That Lunch OTOW' had lunch at this charming cafe & tea house for their monthly outing in March. The building is nestled among trees, is aesthetically pleasing and decorated inside and out with flair and appeal. Inside there are hats to wear, fun clothes to put on, tea cups with tea pots, and holiday decor to admire. The staff is efficient, friendly and gave great service to all of us. The menu offers a great variety of reasonably priced items to choose from. I ordered a Cranberry & Almond Chicken croissant that came with a cup of homemade tomato-basil soup, accompanied by a cool glass of refreshing cucumber water. Yummy.“
