“I had lunch at Riviera Mesa and had a selection of Tacos. Beef, Chicken and Shrimp. They were wonderful. The service was the best. The staff was friendly and professional. Jose the Manager was attentive and ensured we had a wonder experience.”

“The oxtails were absolutely incredible, fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the rice paired perfectly with the rich gravy, and even the vegetables were well seasoned. The Wild Berry Pomegranate Punch was the perfect refreshing addition to the meal.(and I don’t even like pomegranate) Everything tasted homemade and made with care. Portions were generous, the food was fresh, and every bite was delicious. A special note: my grandmother owned restaurants her entire life before she passed away, and she was incredibly particular about good food. She used to send me every week to pick up Southern Palate’s meatloaf because it was one of her absolute favorites. That alone says a lot about the quality and consistency of the food here. Definitely one of the best soul food meals I’ve had in a long time. I’ll absolutely be ordering again! ❤️🍽️🥘🥰”

“Brought my two nieces and my sister in law to try this place and they did not disappoint. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by one of the sweetest ladies, not only were the adults greeted but my nieces were as well. The food and service was excellent, the ladies were so kind and inviting, we enjoyed the atmosphere and looking at all the different hats and decorations. The dessert though is to die for. This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back !!!!!”

“From OOT and I'm pretty particular about my coffee but love to try local, small business shops wherever we go. This was probably my favorite of anywhere I've been - if fact, I came back before we left.. & we were only in town for less than 24 hours plus I don't typically drink more than 1 in a day. The superior taste was only matched by the customer service. 😍Derek was so patient, kind and helpful about my Iced Latte preferences and remembered them when we came back! 11/10 fully recommend.”

We came in as a group of 20 last night on their busiest night of the week And even though we had to wait around 30 minutes to get us all seated The rest of Evening was on point..... “What a cute place. Headed back home and the fam was hungry. We almost turned around because it was packed at 9am, so glad we did not. Food was fresh cooked and delicious.
