Excellent place to bring your fur baby. Gotta ask for diamond girl. The food was phenomenal. The cheesy grits were the star of the plate. All the food was perfect and food perfectly paired together and the portions were spot on. All the wait staff was very nice and friendly.

While visiting Cedar Key, our car broke down in front of this cafe. We decided to go have breakfast while we tried to figure out what to do about our car. Our waitress, Lisa seemed very nice, so I told her our situation with our car. She knew exactly who to call for help. I don’t know what we would have done without her help. I can’t thank her enough for all she did for us that day. We ate at 2nd Street Cafe two more times and enjoyed every bite. One evening we had dinner there and really loved the Low Country Boil! The food, service and atmosphere were the best! Thanks again Lisa, Barbara and Garry Colson
This is a cute little spot for lunch. Good size portions. Cooked to perfection. Very busy but I had no wait time. Tables inside and outside. Plenty of seating.
