It's a dive bar. I like it. Bartender/Server was friendly, ran her butt off serving tables and bar. Cook was friendly and was helpful while bartender ran around. We had grouper sandwiches. Blackened grouper was perfectly done. Fried grouper was a little dry but fixed up with mayo. Enjoyed our time.

Big Deck Bar & Grill is a top-notch spot with amazing food and exceptional service. They usually have great live music, adding to the fun atmosphere. The last time I visited, the artist had the speakers cranked up so high that it was difficult to hear conversations and it was quite loud. However, I’m confident this was just a one-time issue. Despite that, it’s still a fantastic place to enjoy great food and a lively environment!

Ordered food To-Go. We had the Cuban sandwich and fries and chicken quesadilla with a side of fries. Staff was really friendly and helpful with placing the order over the phone. Food was ready within ten minutes as promised. Food was delicious and they included all of the necessary condiments in the bag. Definitely recommend it!
Parking: Parking is really limited on the street. Recommend walking if you’re staying nearby.

Finally made the trip up to Cedar Key after the hurricane last year. What a breath of fresh air to see The Big Deck back open as well as many other places there. As always, the food was delicious and the service 5 stars. Get in your car and make the trip and REMEMBER SUPPORT LOCAL !!!!

I’ve been here a couple of times and love the atmosphere! It’s all very open-air and frequently has live music or karaoke. Very good vibes and good service.
The food is where Big Deck is lacking a little. The grouper sandwich is pretty good, but the grouper finger basket was noticeably frozen fish and very bland, not what we expected for $16. One can infer most of their menu is frozen since they have a big freezer out back. If we come back, it will be for the music and to have a drink, but not to have a meal.
Parking: You’ll have to park in a city spot and walk over to the downtown area. There is no direct parking lot.
