I am so sad to hear this restaurant is permanently closed. I feel for the people and their businesses due to the hurricanes. But!! There are other fantastic restaurants on the island. Please come they need your support.
Unless you want burgers fries and pizza this is THE best restaurant by far in Cedar Key. Clean and simple with good seating and lighting. Friendly efficient staff. The Grouper Picatta was wonderful. Perfectly moist. The potatoes au gratin were delicate and baked to the right al dente with a light crust. The accompanying vegetable was superb. Staying at Cedar Cove condominiums this weekend so it made perfect sense to eat at the onsite Island Room restaurant. Made reservations for 6:30. We arrived on time and we were seated immediately. Our server quickly came to our table, took our drink order, gave us menus and explained the dinner specials in great detail.
