Stopped in to Steamers for dinner after a long-ish drive north to Cedar Key. The pan seared red fish was fantastic, as was the husband's salad. More Food than either of us could eat, and super friendly staff. Very clean. We'll be back!

Checked out Steamers on a short stay in Cedar Key. I had grouper on top of spinach salad. Waitress/bartender was super nice. Honest about the grouper not being fresh, but it was very good. Super moist unlike some frozen grouper will be dry.
Im sure, before the hurricanes, the location was much better. But the service and friendly atmosphere was excellent.
Prices too were very reasonable!

The food was good, not great. It used to be amazing! Very disappointed that when I ordered grouper I actually received a darker meat fish that was clearly not grouper. I wish places would quit passing off food that isn't the right thing

Ask for Carlie when you come in. Impeccable service! I ordered the fish dip, chicken potstickers, and ahi tuna. Delicious without being too heavy. Atmosphere was ok (almost cafeteria-like) but it's a little out of the way place in a tiny town so don't expect anything fancy. The yummy appetizers I ordered, I would definitely order again. Don't change the fish dip recipe!

Staff was friendly but the food was not great. Hubby brought me here during a mini vacay because he saw it on one of his fishing shows. The chowder didn’t taste homemade, the fried haddock was so soggy I couldn’t eat it, the lobster Mac had zero lobster, and the dessert tasted pre-packaged. Overall it just wasn’t great. I was super sad
