The owner Ryan Bell is an obnoxious right wing nut who not only replies rudely to bad reviews as you can see here on Google, but he also posts his personal political views in the same places he posts about his businesses. If you look at the Facebook page for Bell’s Catering, the food looks disgusting. The salads look simple, dry and gross, the bacon is burnt and looks like a shingle, and some mystery meat. Save yourself time and money and hire a real professional instead of this clown.

Oh my gosh, what an incredible organization. With only 3 weeks to plan an event for 100 attendees, Patti and her team stepped up for the challenge resourcing the tent, a/c, table, chairs, indoor lights, etc. Patti kept me informed the entire time. She helped me select the appetizers (delicious) the main course (delicious) and the desert tables (double delicious). Her team arrived before the event for set up and took charge of setting up the room. I had no worries or added stress. As the event wound down they boxed all leftover foods placing in the kitchen, policed the area and carried out all trash. Having used several catering companies in Tampa before moving to Lake City, Bells did not disappoint- what a professional group! We highly recommend. Was a guest at a wedding reception. Food was mediocre at best. Plastic plates, forks and knives, cups were plastic. Food was cold and in a lack luster presentation at cocktail hour.No wait staff to clear up plates and cups.The food at the dinner was presented in foil trays and no one to serve you, it was a definite DIY dinner, again the food was cold. No wait staff. No water on the tables. They put some sort of “Champagne” on the table for a toast but they didn’t put cups on the table. I don’t get all the plastic plates, cups, forks and knives. It baffles me.Cupcakes for dessert which is why I gave them a star at all. Who has dessert and no coffee.The bar is another story, wait on line to get a drink about 3 ounces of wine in a plastic cup. No name liquor what a disgrace. If I’m going to wait on line it better be worth it. Let me tell you it was not.My advice if you are looking into this caterer, look someplace else.

I did note to her twice the “date” was incorrect on the paperwork, I asked her to change it to Friday, she said no problem. Low and behold, guests started to arrive and no food. They did have an emergency number, Ryan Bell, who did help us out and ordered Carraba’s, which we had to drive to pick up, but we did have food and enjoyed our party. We were grateful. It has been almost two and a half weeks later since I called for a refund, HUGE difference in price, Alicia my sales rep did say she would speak to Ryan and call me back the very next day, sadly I have heard nothing. I do NOT recommend this company at this time, in the beginning, I was going to give them an ok review for Ryan troubleshooting a huge error their rep didn’t correct. Sure took our money, now timeto rectify, will they salvage this? They owe us over $2000. I’m extremely disappointed that such a large “Service” company would not bend over backwards to make sure their customers were happy, in order to maintain business in the future. Read their reviews!

I used Bell's for my son's post wedding breakfast. The food was awful! the only good think was that Hurricane Irma kept most of our guests from coming, this limited my embrassement.The tuna was dark and too wet. The egg salad was more mayo and salt then egg. I asked for a fruit platter to serve 60 the platter they sent barely could serve 10. Biscuits were stale. The smoked salmon was cut in chunks. It was the worst experience I have ever had catering a meal. DO NOT USE BELL'S

We just had our Christmas party catered by Bells, and let me tell you everything was fantastic! We recieved everything we asked for and more! The serving tables were set up so nice with christmas decor, the food presentation was remarkable and most importantly it all tasted delicious!! We had about 15 people added to the guest list the day of, I called and they assured me they could make the accomodations last min, and made true of their promise. There was even some food left over after everyone had eaten. We chose brisket, smoked turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, salad and dinner rolls, I have nothing negative to say! Staff was friendly, prices reasonable. I definately will be using again!
