Been looking for another Italian Restaurant to go to after my favorite closed down. Finally found a place I can't wait to go back to. My meal was outstanding. Everyone else loved theirs also. I'm no Tiramisu connoisseur, but it was certainly one of the best I've had. Our server was on point and extremely polite and friendly smile the whole time. The canolli and creme brulee was also good with the sample taste my wife gave me before demolishing it. Pleasant experience... Thank you

Monday night, place was packed. Had reservations with our table available. Waited at front door 7 minutes to be greeted as waiters and manager walked past us carrying food to front patio. The service was spotty with the waiter apologizing saying the main chef was off.Gone are the days when original owner Cesare Tini greeted you and came over to see how everything was.Very expensive for macaroni. The bread is awful for an Italian restaurant.Place mats on tables had crumbs on from prior sitting. They ran out of items on menu. Very, very disappointed. Check was $180 for 2 house cabs, 1 Diet Coke, 2 Caesar salads, 1 egg plant, 1 pasta bolognese, 1 pasta puttanesca and overcooked fish risotto.Used to be our favorite Italian place. No more. Villa Gallace new #1 with Casa Italia #2.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure to dine at. Top shelf from the bartender Tyra to the kitchen wait staff. When in Clearwater beach don’t miss out.

Horrible!! Waited 1 1/2 hours for pasta and never got it. They simply said sorry we forgot you!! Reservation for 8:40 10:00 pm still no food! Mussels came out like were pre cooked! Poor attempt at white wine and garlic sauce! More like butter and water and lemon sauce!! Terible!!!

We ate at a lot of restaurants during our Clearwater visit, this was the best! Everything is homemade and upscale. Our waiter, James was fantastic! The owner checked in on everybody as well. Our waters never got half empty before being filled. Be sure to make a reservation because they will be busy. Would 100 % recommend and return!

We learned that Cesare's is celebrating 20 years of operation! It's a small space, but it is packed with tables and still easy enough to move around. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and a never-ending line of patrons. Be sure to make a reservation--we did and we were seated immediately. I came in with a friend. We were looking for a more upscale place to eat a nice dinner on Clearwater Beach on our third evening here. Our server (Anthony) was delightful!! He matched our admittedly over-the-top energy and was very informative and helpful as we thought our way through our order. This was a nice experience, but the flavor wasn't quite there for me. We ordered two entrees to split and it was more than enough food! However, the best thing on plate for me was the potatoes. I was too full to order dessert but had an eye on the crème brûlée and the tiramisu. Next time, I'd come back for desserts and drinks!

This place is the real deal. The Veal Piccata is probably one of my favorite dishes I've had at an Italian restaurant. The service was amazing. Ambiance is just what you want from an authentic old-school restaurant.

Great meal from beginning to dessert. Entrees are cooked to order so may take longer than expected but worth the wait. The veal parm and salmon with pasta dishes were both exceptional. Don't forget chocolate mousse and lemon ice cream with expresso martini for dessert. Definitely give Cesare a try.

Love this place. Maybe the best Italian in Pinellas County. Sitting outside is great. Although I only gave it 4 stars on Ambience for this visit. Restaurant down the street was having some outdoor live band. No the usual event, thank goodness. But it was kinda loud. Normally, I request to sit outside.

Excellent Italian food. Large portions. Unless you have a huge appetite, one main course between two people, should be more than enough. Calamari starter was perfect ... fresh meat not overcooked, lightly battered and crisp. Aubergine starter less so ... not much aubergine in evidence. Pasta perfectly al dente. Very friendly and helpful service.

Look, we would go back if we were locals. We sat outside which was nice but it is right next a busy bridge. Then wanted to order a glass of vodka rocks, they don't serve liquor. So I looked at the wine menu for a glass of wine but it was very limited. People we sat down with at other tables started getting their food before we did so asked our waiter to check on our order. He brought it out a few minutes later, we believe it was sitting on the counter waiting to be delivered. All this said, one of the owners was awesome, super nice! The food was very good!

Food is really fresh tasting Italian, we got the pasta trio and all three pastas were fabulous.. but skip the creme brulee.. freezing cold at the bottom and got a “stick in your teeth” feeling from the top, other than that it was great and the staff were very helpful, got me a beer while we were waiting for a table.
