I have celiac disease. I asked the cook if the birria tacos were gluten free. He said yes. I watched the cook prepare our food. When the cook poured the birria taco sauce into the styro cup I seen him wipe the sauce that was dripping with his finger and then lick his finger. Gross. We took our food back to our room. I ate 1 taco and didn't touch the styro. Following day I was extremely sick and had all symptoms of cross contamination.

Wonderful home cooked authentic meal. I had the 3 taco special with Pastor. The tacos are tiny but delicious. The beans and rice were also very good. Very friendly and good atmosphere.Forgot to take a picture.. it looked to good to sit.

This little restaurant was close to our hotel so I read the reviews. Truly authentic Mexican food. Be forewarned…you will have a wait bc the owner and chef, Tino, does everything!! He’s awesome…and the food is amazing! Just be patient…and enjoy! Also, he serves anyone with Down’s or Autism for free. Wonderful man!

This is a diamond in the rough. You might even pass it by. But trust me when I say, if you do happen to stumble across Chihuas Tacos, make the right choice.. And come on in. One of the best, authentic, delicious tacos I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Wait time is short and service is just right. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good taco, and can't wait to come back next time I am in the area!
