“The food was top notch or as our outstanding server (Blake) put it "they make everything the hard way, from scratch". We liked it so much we booked a table for New Years Eve and again were wowed by the food and the service. The one drawback was the host stand supervisor. She was snotty and imperious and could really use some training in basic customer service. Once you make it past her you will be rewarded with a wonderful and memorable meal. I would highly recommend the place and look forward to returning again.“

They once again made an awesome birthday cake for us 🥳 We had a little snafu/miscommunication through email and the first cake wasn’t decorated correctly, the owner offered to redecorate it for us at no charge and make it right. “THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST TRY! I have been searching for a place that sells soul food for so long and I finally found it. I didn't expect it to taste almost exactly like my mom's recipes! In fact, it was better (sorry mom). I didn't get a picture of the corn bread, but as someone who makes pretty dang good cornbread, I have to admit they beat me. The fried chicken was falling off the bone, seasoned to perfection, and a huge portion. The chicken fingers were cooked so well, beautifully seasoned, and still crispy even after a 15 minute drive home sitting in a to-go container. The mac and cheese was exactly what I was looking for as well as the greens. I love when food is actually seasoned and not bland. It makes or breaks it if I will return or not. I know for a fact I will be returning here and probably become a regular lol. Please try this place it was phenomenal! Oh I forgot to mention I ordered right before they closed and even tho I arrived after 8pm they still made sure I was able to get my order. They actually brought it out to me. 5 stars across the board!“
