Amazing food. Great drinks menu. Good size kids meals. Service was excellent, friendly welcoming staff

The food was not bad, some of the dishes were really good but some of them just acceptable. The service too slow even when there were only a few tables which is understandable by experiencing the service. I probably won't come back and if I do is because of the location, really good gulf view.

The dinner entrees were good but the sides that came with entree were lacking. The service was slow given our server only had two tables. My husband is in the service industry so we try to play devils advocate. We're staying three nights here at Shepards Beach Resort so we wanted to try their new restaurant as we're celebrating our anniversary. We chose to dine other places instead of this restaurant for the rest of our meals. Peanut butter pie and key lime were amazing. The best we ever had. Sad that we couldn't get more on Monday and Tuesday night as the restaurant was closed. Overall okay experience.

Our server Josh was fantastic!! He was personable and super knowledgeable regarding the menu items! The band afterwards was awesome!! Ashley Lux Band and her guys were soooo good and gave us a great show! We're hoping they play next month when we come out for our date night!!

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Cove Last night. Dinner was great, the service was amazing and the view was perfect. This place is newer and less crowded than most restaurants. There is a fun bar next door as well playing the perfect music for a sunset on the beach. My son played right on the beach after dinner. Lastly- I also received a birthday dessert (pb pie) on the house. It was so good!

The food was okay. Nothing spectacular. Lobster empanadas were great. The service was a little slow considering there wasn't really anyone else in the restaurant yet. It's definitely got “beach restaurant” vibes. Great people watching I guess??

Seagulls were pervasive and aggressive, as well as loud! Food was slightly above average. Several guests rudely talked on smartphones loudly at 9:30 in the morning - very disappointing that people are that inconsiderate. Potentially nice view of the Gulf of America was blocked by hotel's beach gear.

They accommodated us with a table outside for five, even though typically their tables only seat four. The food was great! We had crabcakes, pork belly, Sea Bass, pork chops, and filet. One warning though – if you get the snapper, be sure you like spicy food. The flavor is amazing, but they use Jamaican scotch bonnet peppers. My favorite was the dessert which was almost like a baked Alaskan, but with Keylime pie. Definitely will be bookmarked in return again!

Opentable Diner

wait 20 minutes for our server then begin to ask for a server and never receive one. Started to walk out after 30 min then someone noticed and asked to make it up to us. We sat down ordered and our order was then wrong. won't go back, would not recommend.

Excellent food and a unique, tasteful menu. The service provided by Josh (I'm not sure if that was his name) was outstanding—very attentive and friendly. He made great suggestions for both dishes and drinks, and really enhanced our dining experience. Definitely a place worth visiting!

We sat outside at night while live music was playing. The food was amazing and a great value for the quality! Drinks were top tier! We will definitely be back!

The food and drinks were wonderful! Our server was very friendly, but the service was unbelievably slow. Music outside was extremely loud, and competing with the sound system next door. The birds outside were swooping in and going for diners' plates. Yikes!

Steak was overcooked and there are very limited gluten free options. Server was not knowledgable about gluten free.

Food was very good especially the filet. Party like atmosphere full of loud obnoxious people who were more than likely day drinking there all day. This was rather annoying. I realize people are on vacation and want to have a good time, but for the prices you pay here, we expected to have a a nice family dinner in an elegant restaurant. Our own waitress was very good, but at one point another waitress asked if they could add another table to ours because more friends came for the loud party next to us and this was the closest place they could seat them next to their friends. Needless to say we said no thank you. Again, for the prices you pay here, we should not have to be seated with other people. We were there with our 3 kids who are young adults, but I would not recommend the restaurant for those with young children just because of the party like atmosphere.

Brunch items on Saturday and Sunday are great, especially shrimp & grits. Delicious drinks! Typical resort pricing.
