wait 20 minutes for our server then begin to ask for a server and never receive one. Started to walk out after 30 min then someone noticed and asked to make it up to us. We sat down ordered and our order was then wrong. won't go back, would not recommend.

Excellent food and a unique, tasteful menu. The service provided by Josh (I'm not sure if that was his name) was outstanding—very attentive and friendly. He made great suggestions for both dishes and drinks, and really enhanced our dining experience. Definitely a place worth visiting!

We sat outside at night while live music was playing. The food was amazing and a great value for the quality! Drinks were top tier! We will definitely be back!

The food and drinks were wonderful! Our server was very friendly, but the service was unbelievably slow. Music outside was extremely loud, and competing with the sound system next door. The birds outside were swooping in and going for diners' plates. Yikes!

Steak was overcooked and there are very limited gluten free options. Server was not knowledgable about gluten free.

Food was very good especially the filet. Party like atmosphere full of loud obnoxious people who were more than likely day drinking there all day. This was rather annoying. I realize people are on vacation and want to have a good time, but for the prices you pay here, we expected to have a a nice family dinner in an elegant restaurant. Our own waitress was very good, but at one point another waitress asked if they could add another table to ours because more friends came for the loud party next to us and this was the closest place they could seat them next to their friends. Needless to say we said no thank you. Again, for the prices you pay here, we should not have to be seated with other people. We were there with our 3 kids who are young adults, but I would not recommend the restaurant for those with young children just because of the party like atmosphere.

Brunch items on Saturday and Sunday are great, especially shrimp & grits. Delicious drinks! Typical resort pricing.

Our server was personable but clearly overwhelmed....the neighboring server (Josh from NY that had the table we should have waited for) willingly and graciously assisted us on numerous occasions. The food was plentiful and had some reasonably priced selections. Location on the beach is wonderful. Shepherd's advertises that parking is comped with proof of purchase from this restaurant, and the valet refused to honor that, and we didn't have the energy to argue with him or involve management for resolution. Overall we would go back if we were in the area.

Food was good but ingredients are non negotiable since food is cooked sous vide. My wife's steak was heavily peppered. The waiter said it was just a small bit of pepper. My wife wiped most of the pepper off on her $50 steak. It's was decent but would not go back.

Great food and drinks. Blane did a great job for us at the bar. We can't wait to go back

Sea Bass was overcooked and dry. Risotto was like glue and steak was undercooked. Flavor is the meal was lacking.

Es lief so ziemlich alles schief, was schiefgehen kann. Draußen angefragt, in der Reservierung stand - es war mein Geburtstag: wir können nicht raus, müssten sehr lange warten. Also drinnen platziert, 10min später wird ein Paar strahlend an uns vorbei nach draußen gebracht. Dann 70min auf den Hauptgang gewartet, jeweils Fisch mit Risotto - bei beiden Gerichten der Risotto kalt, bei einem Essen auch der Fisch nur noch handwarm - und es war kein Sous-vide! Das Restaurant hat aus Kulanz US$40 Rabatt gegeben ... aber ein gutes Essen wäre mir wichtiger. Dann hätte ich auch noch eine zweite Flasche Wein bestellt. So fiel das flach. Es gibt sicher bessere Restaurants für gutes Essen.

Fish was over cooked and dry. The sauce looked like pesto but had an overpowering flavor. We think it was vinegar. I thought I ordered a lump crab meat sandwich. It was not lump crab meat. I spent time later trying to find a menu online, to make sure I was not mistaken. I could not find a menu online. The sandwich was OK. I think we over paid for the quality of food.

Was very disappointed in my visit. Had problems confirming the reservation. Was given a bit sass from the staff about it. Got to the restaurant. Asked for a wine list. Our server said they don't have a list which I thought was odd. She said I could order Chardonnay, Cabernet etc. I explained that I wasn't randomly going to order a glass of wine without knowing the winery it was from. 10 mins later she came back with a wine list...... Wine list wasn't great, but I went with the $16 Sancerre because I've never had a bad Sancerre. Well, I guess there is always a first time for everything! The Sancerre was HORRIBLE. Tasted like Barefoot wine or something cheap. My glass of wine also had a dark hair wrapped around it. My guest and I decided to leave and I'm glad we did because we had a lovely lunch at Columbia up the street.

Stayed at Shepards Beach Resort. Tried Coves fir Easter but was not impressed with menu. Food was just OK but toast was cold & biscuits & gravy wasn't very good. Ervice was fine.. Wouldn't go back
