Banelly Taqueria (Authentic Mexican Food)

We stopped in for a bite on our date night. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The food was delicious! I had the Flautas which were packed full of chicken. Everything was fresh, delicious, and affordable.

I wanted to like Banelly Taqueria, especially since the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant first impression. Place is very small, only 6 tables tightly packed. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to that same standard. I had the Carne Asada. Everything I tried was flavorless and only served lukewarm, which made the experience feel underwhelming overall. The carne asada was not a good cut of meat, not cooked properly.
For the price (around $23), I expected something more memorable or at least more authentic in taste. It wasn’t worth the cost. With a bit more attention to flavor and freshness, this place could be much better.

Horrible service! I waited 45 minutes and ordered RED sauce for my enchiladas and they gave me green sauce and then said there’s nothing they can do about it. Never coming to this place again and telling my friends and family how horrible this place is!

This in my opinion is the best Mexican food in Florida. I lived in New Mex for 20 years and travelled all over Mexico. The tiny dining area is humble but clean and usually nearly filled with Spanish speaking patrons. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food (especially good salsa) is amazing.
I come here often now.

This is a great hidden gem. The food here smells and tatse amazing. The drinks and beers are ice cold. The counter lady is always nice and the cook is phenomenal. The music they play always takes me back to the Mexican neighborhood I grew up in. You will not be let down. Bonus on the weekend they make a juicy pulled pork that is bussin or banging depend what generation you are. I do the Sopes alot my wife gets something different to try every time.The bistec a la mexicona was the one I like the most that she got.
