“So Close I’m on a mission to find the best breakfast in mid-Pinellas County. Remy’s is right up there, but just shy of being the best. The café is clean, nicely decorated and welcoming. Staff is pleasant. Air conditioning and fans, unfortunately, blow down, cooling the food too fast. I got the standard thing: 2 eggs scrambled (fine), ham (delicious and one of the best) and grits. Why are grits the downfall of so many local cafes?! Texture was OK, but they were bland! I upgraded the included regular toast to French toast. This is one of the best French toasts I’ve had in these parts. While the bread slices were thick, they were properly cooked and not soggy in the middle (woohoo!) There was even a slice of orange on the plate (albeit dried out). Coffee was, by café standards, strong and good. The correct score should be 4.5 stars, but I’ll gladly round up because of the ham and French toast. Sooo close—just fix the grits.“
“Cute spot amongst a lot of fast food options. I got the power smoothie with espresso and peanut butter, along with a yogurt w/fruit. Yogurt could have been a bit more grand for the price, but still grateful I didn't have to eat at Starbucks and get zero nutrition this morning. God bless.“
“Delicious Breakfast Kimmie Ds is not iHop or Denny's. Nor does it try to be. Located off 49th Street in the industrial section of town. One would expect a greasy spoon dirty nasty place. Not so. I found it fresh clean and staffed by the owner who commented she had been here 30 plus years. It has, my only regret is I never gave it a chance. Nice little breakfast / lunch spot.“
“I love this place, been going here for years and the customer service has never changed nor the food. The food be well prepared and presented on time not a long wait period. 10/10 for sure. On the route to Clearwater Beach for breakfast or lunch. They close by 2pm Mon thru Sunday.“

We chatted up a lovely server about to start her shift, Susan, and learned about what it means to wear a "master" hat. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area! “Very much like a family diner. Service was very fast and I felt like I had been dining here for years-but it was my first time. I gave the food 4 stars because the sandwich was very greasy. However it was super delicious nonetheless. I will go back and try other items.“

“The cheesy grits are the best. I personally think that Melissa Is the best waitress And i'm always ask for her when I eat at the one in countryside. I never have to ask for my drink to be refilled or a to go cup, it's automatic. So I make sure I tip very well Because good service is very hard to find.“

And Alexandra our Waitress for the evening (to the right of the picture) was filled with a glimmering smile and full of the hospitality you desire! “We had a larger group with young kids and the Manager was very accommodating and helped us get a table large enough for us.The hostesses, waiter and rest of the staff were very friendly and tolerant of occasional noise outbursts from our feral and potentially rabid children.We have eaten here at least a dozen times and the food has been incredible every time. One of the better breakfast restaurants in Pinellas County.Kid-friendliness: They were very tolerant of younger kids and have some booths to make it easier to keep wild and ravenous children from running all over.“
