Checkers is one of those places I go to when I’m craving something quick and greasy, but this visit didn’t quite hit the mark. The drive-thru took longer than expected — it felt like the staff was either short-handed or having a tough night keeping up with orders. When I finally got my food, it was warm but not really hot, and the fries (which are usually amazing) were a bit soggy this time.

The burger had good flavor but seemed like it sat for a few minutes...

I brought my boyfriend on a Checkers date and it was amazing, the staff was enjoyable and courteous and even acknowledged us when we came up to the drive up and advised them we don’t have checkers near South Tampa and he was craving the Glorilla Buford that he saw online, I think Checker’s is underrated and we need one in South Tampa asap!!!

The burgers are so good that it still gets 4 stars after the service being always so poor and they always mess the order up one way or another... LOVE THE BACONATER
