Deccan Spice Indian Restaurant (Tampa)

This restaurant has the best Indian food I’ve ever had! The flavors are rich and authentic, and the spices are just right. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. I will definitely come back! Everything was served hot and fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. If you love Indian food, you must try this place!

There’s not a thing I don’t love about this restaurant. ♥️

I’m an Southern, American gal who happens to LOVE LOVE LOVE India & has explored the many States, cultures, food options, etc, beautiful India has to offer. When I noticed Sacred Spice by my Church (FeatherSound), I got super excited. I had no idea just how many Indians lived in the area, nor that there were so many Indian restaurants nearby.

Even though, Sacred Spice is mostly made up of South Indians, they offer & capture all the different types of foods (even North) so well. Yummy!!!!! When I noticed they offer buffets on the weekends, I got extra excited. I love the variety.

I’m especially fond of their Saag Paneer & Gajar Ka Halwa. But, everything I’ve tried has been delicious. With any paneer dish, they give you a great portion of paneer, which makes my heart happy… considering most other Indian restaurants I’ve tried aren’t as generous with the paneer. Overall, their portion sizes are large, like the rice, enough for leftovers. You definitely get your money’s worth.

They also have a little shop with India’s best & memorable snacks like Parle G. It helps because you can avoid the drive to Patel Brothers for some items.

My favorite thing is the staff and atmosphere. I’m always welcomed with big smiles and just seeing all the aunties, uncles, & big families coming by makes me so happy & content. It makes me feel like I’m in India.

I’ll continue to be a repeat customer, rave about this place, & continue to bring friends by from near & far to try it out.

The flavor, calming atmosphere and the proud service are a testament to their commitment quality. I had an amazing meal here many times and frequent visits for lunch. There is no happy hours .serving boys are good but the girls who take orders are not even polite they only serve for reviews also for main course worst service ever. I recommend nothing to eat worst ever indian food i have ever had !!! Not at all recommend!!!

The best Indian food in the Tampa Bay area- this place is my go-to. The restaurant is beautiful, service is good, and food is outstanding. The food is hot, authentic, fresh, and made to order down to the spice level. Value is there, the portions are huge (always enough for lunch leftovers the next day). Convenient location right off of Ulmerton.
