Some of the best Mexican food I've had and I lived in LA. Great margaritas. Quest was great. Servers are friendly. Ivan was great. This place will be packed come season for travelers. Fajitas were fantastic. Burrito was off the charts but I'll ask for extra meat next time.
First time, went for lunch. Ask what they recommended, house specially Enchilada Oaxaca, served with shredded lettuce, guacomle, sour cream, pica, Spanish rice. Served within minutes. Guacomle and pica very tasty, as was the shredded chicken. Nice portion for $11.99. I've never had "mole" sauce...interesting, but not for me. Very diverse menu for seafood, chicken, beef and pork. Look forward to returning to try a different menu item
Absolutely amazing food! The chips and salsa were just how I like them. Staff was good too. The restaurant itself is super cool and has a nice outdoor seating area
This place is delicious. Loved their birria. The street corn is to die for. I also loved their chicken soup. Delicious.
Great place and so delicious food. This place is located close to the Clearwater Beach. It has tables inside and outside. My friends and I were sitting outside. Our server was nice, he checked on us all the time. The food is great! The portions are big and if you want to try several dishes you can order for share and you will be full overall. As complementary, they brought us salsa and chips. We were super full.
Ordered medium rare steak, after this was recommended by my server, was given slices of steak roughly Same thickness as deli meat in a tomato sauce that was extremely chewy and over cooked, when I asked my server he said “I’m a cook that’s medium rare” I told him I did not agree, he then spoke with his cook or manager and came back and told me that this dish cannot be medium rare it’s cooked in a sauce…. He must have forgotten that’s what he recommended then argued with me that is was medium rare to then come back and say they can never do this dish medium rare. Will never comeBack here again. Do not recommend.
Chicken Taco Salad $9.99 It looks like black bean soup. The guac & sour cream was good . The shredded chicken had flavor. I'm not sure where the lettuce was. They attempted to correct it, & said the beans were the cause. I didn't disagree. I just snacked on the guac & chips and was not interested in another salad. I've honestly have tried to give this place a chance. I've had their beef taco and chalupa. The taco was bland. There are other Mexican food choices such as Carmelitas which is off the charts great. I will not be back.
Let me start by saying Javier is an amazing waiter who knows how to treat his guests! This is our second time here and the food doesn't disappoint! We had the pork and chili verde and the steak ala mexicana both were full of flavor and more than enough food. Don't forget to order a margarita we had the pineapple and it was full of fresh pineapple and tequila!! We will be back and bringing all of our friends too!
Very good food and drinks, a nice atmosphere and great staff. Made me feel very welcome and were fast to bring everything out.
Good food good drinks.. and I mean GOOD DRINKS. lol 5 stars
Best Mexican Food I ever had. Great service and a very nice place. Real authentic flavored Mexican Food!! We will come back when we visit this area again.
The best Mexican restaurant in Clearwater AND inexpensive. Authentic. Great attentive service. Outdoor and indoor seating. We followed the waiter's recommendation and ordered chicken Fajita Quesadilla and two tacos. Both were excellent and Authentic. Finished the meal with 2 Flans, again excellent. We just had water, and the total was $28.87, before tipDon't let the neighborhood fool you. Area is not scary but it feels a little older and inexpensive neighborhood. Parking is plentiful. The restaurant itself looks very well maintained and clean. You won't regret trying it out.
I visited 2 yrs ago when the food was actually good. I visited on Saturday evening and was so disappointed that I probably won't go back. I ordered the mole enchiladas, but they were filled with tinga-style chicken, barely topped with mole sauce and melted cheese on top. This is after I asked them to pls prepare w/o onion as we have an onion sensitivity. I would have been okay if they were able to accommodate with traditional mole enchiladas with plain pulled chicken filling and a quality mole sauce. Instead after speaking with them, they reiterated that's the way the chicken comes prepared and we had to go with a pollo asado with the mole sauce on top. The Tres Amigos meal leaves much to be desired. The portion for the price, is not what you would expect.
My new favorite Mexican restaurant. The service is outstanding. The couple times I've ordered to go, everything was packed up very well and they included a big bag of warm tortilla chips and some salsa. The chimichangas are really good! If you like savory-sweet dishes, definitely recommend trying their enchiladas Oaxaca.
