“After hearing so many recommendations, we finally checked out Thai Town and it did not disappoint. It’s tucked into the small plaza off Main Street near Jet’s Pizza. The interior is dated but thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with hand-carved tables, elephant accents, carved wood details, and soft twinkle lights that give the space a warm, welcoming feel. The woman who served us was incredibly kind and attentive while also juggling about ten other guests on her own. We ordered red curry and pineapple fried rice with chicken to go and spent our wait relaxing in large carved wooden chairs, just taking in the atmosphere. When she learned it was our first visit, she brought us each a freshly made crab rangoon to try while we waited. She said if we liked curry, we would probably love them. She was absolutely right. They were the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve ordered them on every visit since. We’ve also tried the pineapple curry with chicken, which has a really pleasant, mild heat and great flavor. It’s our favorite dish so far.“

“One does not visit this Pinellas Park establishment for a five-star hotel ambiance; one visits for the unpretentious mastery of the Vietnamese kitchen. It is a humble, family-run 'hidden gem' that prioritizes authentic flavors over modern aesthetics.
Despite the recent viral attention regarding its name, the true focus remains the kitchen's dedication to traditional recipes. It falls just short of five stars only because I occasionally miss the white-glove service of a high-end bistro—but for an authentic, soul-warming meal, it is an elite choice. A job well done.
