I stopped by this local seafood market for the first time, just to window shop....and was I surprised at the available selection of all things seafood. The guy behind the counter was very helpful and pointed out the different types of shrimp available and provided background on where they were caught. I'll be back whenever I'm looking for fresh seafood of any type.
This place is amazing and apparently has been a landmark here for like 50 years. The fresh fish and seafood selection is outstanding. The specialty dishes like shrimp spread, calamari salad, pasta salad, coleslaw and many others are mostly made in house. I have only been here a couple of times and I'm dying to try more, I was very impressed with everything that I have purchased so far. I would highly recommend anyone to come here.
WOW, Wards was recommended to me by a friend after having a less than favorable experiance with a seafood purchase at a chain supermarket. The HUGE selection is the first thing you notice, the greeting from the staff, their knowledge of what they have to offer, all together, gave me that warm fuzzy feeling that I had found a store I'd go back to regularly. One word of caution though, if you buy the pastrami crusted smoked salmon, you will know the meaning of addiction! I...
