San Jose's Original Mexican Restaurant offers good Mexican cuisine in a great atmosphere. This is a great place to relax and have great food with family or friends. The restaurant can get noisy, but the delicious food and attentive service make up for it. Highlights include the carne asada, enchiladas, and flan, as well as kid-friendly options. Food was delicious with large portions, everything was fresh and tasty. Drinks were great with a fantastic happy hour. On Sundays, mariachis add to the festive atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable. Burritos were very good and they had options for vegans. All the workers at the restaurant were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. It’s never disappointing.
