Great food and many options
Had a wonderful late lunch/early dinner. I highly recommend the Atom Bombs and the Fajita Shrimp Quesadilla was fabulous!!!
I want to write this review based on my experience on Aug. 27, 2026, and not my experience the week before on Aug. 20th. I was comped a free meal due to receiving the wrong order that I made online and having to drive all the way back to the restaurant to retrieve the correct one. They explained what happened when I called them about the error. I wasn't upset, for mistakes happen. Tijuana Flats is a restaurant that offers a mixed experience. While some staff members, like the girl who took orders and the young lady who waited on customers, provide excellent customer service, others could care less about orders. The atmosphere is lacking, with dim lights, sticky floors, and limited outdoor seating. However, the service is usually very good, and many customers find the staff to be kind and hard-working. The food has its highlights, with a blackened chicken salad being particularly delicious, and food is consistently good, sometimes even better than usual. Some customers have reported receiving less-than-full fillings in their tacos and being charged extra for hot sauce, leading to a disappointing experience. Despite initial doubts about the outside of the restaurant, many find it to be nice and clean inside, making it a great spot for taco cravings.
