We passed The Skinny Mermaid/Vistea on our way home from KSC and decided to give it a try and we're so glad we did! Fresh salad bowls, delicious boba teas and friendly staff. Don't be put off by the rather unassuming looking exterior. We'd come here more often if we lived in the area!!

Phew! Skinny Mermaid is now VISTEA!! GOOD because SM was really, really bad. SM's boba was hard, didn't taste like tea, all milk or powders, SO GROSS. And the appropriation was horrendous. The poke used to be so sad, disgusting even.Now, it's VISTEA. With new owners. Authentic. Their milk tea actually tastes like tea. They use syrup to flavor the tea. The boba is chewier, fresher, though could be a bit softer. I got the earl grey milk tea with cheese foam and it's sooooo much better than SM's recipe. The cheese foam could be thicker though to withstand the florida heat. I boycotted SM for so long, it was a disgrace to boba so overall im satisfied with the change and improvements. And no, im not friends with the new owners or anything, i just seriously hated SM as an asian person that knows real asian food.

The food was excellent, the boba teas were so delicious. We ordered 2 build your own bowls, one of the tropical bowls with Ahi Tuna, 2 boba teas (one milk based, one fruit), the egg roll appetizer and the shrimp tempura. I've never seen my family make food disappear quite as fast. The only criticism was the portions weren't as big as I would have expected for the price, however, everything was fresh and even the presentation was beautiful.

Well we are in town from LA and stumbled into The Skinny Mermaid on accident. Let me say it was a great accident!! We picked Make our own Poke and it was fresh and super tasty. Added some egg rolls. Those are perfect. So good that we ordered another 6 and some delicious Taro Ice cream. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank You

Stopped in for lunch after searching for healthy light food on our way from Vero Beach to Cape Canaveral. We ordered a Poke Bowl and a salad bowl with tuna, and Buba Tea and were delighted with our lunch. The bowls were full of fresh fruits and veges and super fresh raw tuna and flavorful poke dressing. The boba teas (one dalgona coffee and one coconut) were delicious. The exterior is a bit funky but don’t let that stop you. The owner and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and the food is fresh and excellent, well worth the stop.

Trying new and local places this time around. Tried to go yesterday but they are closed on Tuesdays. They specialize in ‘bowls’. I had a Buddha bowl with shrimp and hubby had Ahi Tuna Poke bowl. They were good and tasty with water (they charge for water). Nothing fancy or fabulous. I’ve had better bowls all around this area. Prices of bowls are comparable to other places.

Skinny Mermaid is seriously so good and such a cute little spot to eat! They have vegetarian options and everything tasted so fresh and so good! Definitely will be going back.
The gentleman who I believe is the owner is super helpful, and very nice and took the time to help me find what I could eat with my food allergies. Their Buddha bowls are absolutely delicious, and all of the vegetables and fruit they use are fresh. The Boba tea was pretty delicious too. They also provide vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you like to eat clean. The prices are very reasonable as well.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !! My new favorite restaurant in Cocoa Beach. I have been a loyal fan since they opened. The freshness, the flavors, and the selection makes this the go to spot in Cocoa Beach. This place has it all. I love the sweet/hot combo of the nuts n paradise poke. It's loaded with macadamia nuts and pistachios. But I also enjoy getting a chicken or tofu Buddha Bowl. How do you describe something that is beyond tasty? Everything is filling but the kind of full where I have energy to keep working. The big a** steak burrito did put me into a little food coma because that thing was huge. Highly recommend this place. Everything on the menu is great and the build your own option lets you get exactly what you want.Sure to be your new favorite place also!

This is not good food. Would not recommend. I've had a lot of poke and this was 100% the worst one I've eaten at. The rice was not flavored like sushi rice or anything. Just white jasmine rice. I got the SIGNATURE HOUSE POKE' @13.99Tuna, Scallions, sweet onions drenched in our House Poke' sauce and topped with sesame seeds. The sauce was fine but please please please improve the rice situation. At least use sushi rice or a short grain. Not all white rice is the same!!! And also the the mango boba thing (boba tea #3). The heck did I drink? It was literally half and half some sort of soda and then like mango popping boba. Over sweet and then weird... when it got clumpy. I threw it out after a few sips. Very sad :( People/staff seemed nice. They were vibing to the music and friendly!

I had the original poke bowl... the fish was super fresh, the bowl was flavorful and very filling. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were in and out in no time! We will definitely be back!

What a great find! We were up from Jupiter and wanted a local yet healthy lunch and boy what an amazing lunch experience here! The Husband had Signature House Poke and couldn't stop raving about how much fish was in his dish and I had the Volcano Poke, which they warned me was H O T and yes it was, it was deliciously...addictive... HOT, as well as loaded with whole pistachios!! The servings were very large, so large I couldn't finish it all! Also, the Husband LOVED the Blue Sky [I think?] cane sugar Black Cherry soda, said it was the best Cherry soda he ever had. What a unique change for beverages and keeping with the theme of quick yet healthier.Shane the owner greeted us as we entered, walked us through the expansive menu, then delivered all orders to to every guest, checked on everyone throughout meal, and then general chit chat with all guests. What a refreshing change, an owner who wants to know his patrons!! We weren't friends before we entered but felt like family when we left. The outside dining is spacious and adorably themed, this place is certainly a gem and will be our only dining spot now when we come up!!
