Phew! Skinny Mermaid is now VISTEA!! GOOD because SM was really, really bad. SM's boba was hard, didn't taste like tea, all milk or powders, SO GROSS. And the appropriation was horrendous. The poke used to be so sad, disgusting even.Now, it's VISTEA. With new owners. Authentic. Their milk tea actually tastes like tea. They use syrup to flavor the tea. The food was excellent, the boba teas were so delicious. We ordered 2 build your own bowls, one of the tropical bowls with Ahi Tuna, 2 boba teas (one milk based, one fruit), the egg roll appetizer and the shrimp tempura. I've never seen my family make food disappear quite as fast. The only criticism was the portions weren't as big as I would have expected for the price, however, everything was fresh and even the presentation was beautiful.

We passed The Skinny Mermaid/Vistea on our way home from KSC and decided to give it a try and we're so glad we did! Fresh salad bowls, delicious boba teas and friendly staff. Don't be put off by the rather unassuming looking exterior. We'd come here more often if we lived in the area!!
