Bar Louie - Coconut Creek

Ambiance, service, and food was fine. Drinks were subpar. Recommend everything but signature cocktails or martinis. Stick with a staple or a beer.

Food was on point and a good value with the 3-course special that's going on. Very much a sports bar vibe not overly quiet but not obnoxiously loud. The first high top I was seated at was about to fall apart very wobbly and the top turned several degrees each direction. My request to move to another table was accommodated quickly but they immediately sat another party there which made zero sense. If and when I go back, I will definitely sit at the bar because while the food came out in a timely manner to say the service from my waiter was slow would be an understatement. Probably not a bad spot to catch a game especially if you are solo.

Waiter was not attentive. We had to call him over several times. He also didn't bother to clear or table as we were ordering food. Sucky experience

I recently went to Bar Louie after not being there for a bit..I walked in there and found the atmosphere to be very depressing. My regular bartender Morgan was not there. My other bartender Athena did not appear the happy person I know her to be..i understand there is new management in there and appears to have made significant changes to a place I use to visit once a week. Even my regular group of friends were no longer there either. There was not that feeling of glad to see you. What a shame..i will not be back there. What happened? The post that was originally written, does not apply anymore.(I moved to Coconut Creek almost a year ago and discovered Bar Louie in the Promenade shops..The bartender Athena was my first introduction..Due to her making me feel so comfortable coming in there by myself, I continued coming on Friday nights; Morgan was the bartender. Another incredible person that makes you feel so welcome. I have since met an incredible group of friends there, we usually come Friday night for happy hour. Thank you Morgan, Athena and the others who always say hello to me when I come in. Thank you for your kindness and incredible service you give, because you want to)

My husband and I enjoy so much the philly steak sándwich. We love to sea in the bar and have dome drinks white we wait for our food.

The manager had a time last night, an absolutely awful door dasher came in and was causing quite a scene. I was there and she handled herself with impressive professionalism. The man finally left only after berating the poor girl, only to return to make another scene. She should be commended for her composure and overall you could see she was trying to shield the other guests from the experience. Bravo!

DO NOT and I truly mean DO NOT under any circumstance even consider supporting such a disgustingly dishonest place. I caught their manager blatantly telling no less than 3 LIES in the 5 minutes inquiring about my order. Frankly I have never seen such a lack of integrity from a leadership role, they should truly be ashamed of themselves.

I went here for Big Dezzo Weekend and it was amazing .Food was 10/10 and Big Dezzo enjoyed her meal

Management is poor !!! Party of 50 ppl and they can’t handle!!! The manager was so rude !!! Screaming in the whole restaurant . And we never saw her until the end .

I went for a party tonight and everything took long , we were trying to find the manager but nobody came , after 1 hour a blonde girl came and she was so rude !!! She didn’t understand the situation she gave us attitude , to be honest she can’t work in a restaurant , she needs to work in the Jail cuz she screams too much !!! She was yelling at the waitress and bartenders on front the customers !!! She is unprofessional !!! We are from the department of transportation (sunpass ) but we are no coming back .

Racist staff the quality of customer service is determined by your skin, I’ve been invited here several times with friends from various backgrounds and couldn’t stand to see how they treated my friend who has dark skin compared to how they treated friends who were fair skin/hispanic. So beware of that. The inside stinks & the food is bland (not to mention my dish was overcooked on all three visits I had), I would never recommend or return. However, WORLD of Beer is across the street and the food is 10xs better for the same prices.

I’ve been coming to Bar Louie for a while, but the past month and a half has been nothing but disappointment. The bartender schedule has completely changed all the good bartenders are no longer here when they’re needed, and it shows. Athena & Morgan was the best and their hours and days have changed. Service has gone downhill fast. The bartenders that are rude and unprofessional & non welcoming seem to be here the most now.

The food quality is terrible now and the atmosphere isn’t what it used to be. The new manager walks around with her nose in the air (blonde hair) doesn’t greet or engage with customers and honestly seems like she couldn’t care less. The previous manager actually cared but she left for more money and less stress across the street. Can’t say I blame her.

Even the music has changed for the worse, they have little League baseball on the TV’s (in a bar) and with it, the whole vibe of the place. What used to be my go-to bar has turned into a disappointment. I’ll be looking for a new spot to spend my time and money.
