I have not been to this establishment and it is now closed. Just by looking at the pictures I can see many food service violations.

My experience: I go there. I ask for a bagel and and iced coffee. The guy behind the counter says to me: "I wouldn't serve you our coffee today, I don't think it's fresh." I leave. Weird place.

I placed a take out order and picked it up, when I arrived home 2 of the 3 items were wrong. My husband called to speak to the manager to ask for a refund, the manager was rude and snarky. He had zero customer service and was more concerned about who on his staff took the order than what was wrong with our food. He acted like we were idiots for asking for a refund when his staff gave us the wrong order. I’ll never be coming back here again, the manager has an attitude problem and will be the reason this place closes down.

A couple of weeks ago I placed a small to go order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I walk in around 15 minutes later and a girl at the counter was eating and there was no one in the restaurant. She immediately realized she forgot to put in my order. Annoying but I didn’t make a big deal about it.I tried this place again today, ordered take out. I picked up the order and when I get home I realized there was no syrup for the pancakes. I drove back to the store to get syrup and once I arrived back home, I realized they gave me the wrong bagel. While I can acknowledge I should’ve checked my order the first time, my issue isn’t really the mistakes they made on the food or the missing syrup. It was the manager I spoke to on the phone, not sure if they were the owner. The manager should not be in this business, has no “bedside manner” and is very snarky. I asked politely to just be refunded for the order and his reply to me was “well you eventually got your syrup and so only your bagel is wrong” he just gave me a hard time about the order and didn’t see any purpose in working with me outside of the bagel. I just told him forget the refund altogether I won’t be back. Looking at the other reviews so far, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

If you order your bagel "not toasted" like I do this is not the place for you. Cashier looked at me funny when I said "not toasted". A South FL bagel place should at the very least have fresh bagels at room temp. Chewy and delicious when not toasted (room temp at 10:45am on a Sat if they make in house).

I planned on meeting a friend for breakfast here Friday at 8. Hours on Yelp state 7 AM opening sign on the door says eight. I waited until 8:05 and they did not open nor did they answer the phone. The 'open' sign was lit. The interior looks very large and very clean. I was so looking forward to one of their bagels. There were two other customers waiting as well. I called later and they were open I would consider giving them another try.

I have been there many times with my family when Ernest was the owner. It was consistent, friendly clean and the food was fabulous. Now under Van Horne new owner it's horrible. The place is filthy, not friendly and most of all the food is disgusting.DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!

Bagels were stale. Waitress said they were not fresh. Was told not to order anything that required cooking I.e eggs as it would take too long because the Uber eats took preference. I end up with a buttered bagel.
This place is brutal and will not last long. Placed a to go order and waited 30 mins and watched an employee walk out in frustration with cook. Closed in a month and a shame because would love to have a good breakfast place close. Been there twice before so my mistake for going back.

We were excited to try out the new bagel place in town and it was sadly very disappointing.First of all if your a bagel place, have a damn good bagel or people will not go. You have shipped in frozen ones from NY since your waiting to be able to make in house? You didn’t volunteer that info as I had to ask if fresh made. That said I asked for a toasted bagel with the lox and it was cold and hard. I ate it since I didn’t want to have waste the made one. It looked ok but very little lox, and cream cheese. Most places I’ve been to has enough cheese for two bagels.Gotta get better for 14 bucks.Coffee in paper cups to dine in?Wife’s omelette was wrong cheese and had to remake it. Came out and just meh. Plate was plain as she had oatmeal first which was ok. Add a fruit slice? It was not busy and it took way too long to get food and waitress forgot things when asked. If you ever get busy ya need some help. Lastly the place is nice but needs some ambience with pictures and something to make it look welcoming.All just an opinion as I want you to do well but too many other places to go.Regards.

Tried van horn again. Great food no paper plates. Delicious pastrami. Soup out of this world. Go back give it a try much improved. My new go to place lunch and breakfast.
