How on this earth can this place have such good reviews? Family members? Bribes? I don’t get it. This food was so greasy, bad, like absolutely disgusting!!!!! That I couldn’t even give some to my dogs. The ginger beef was raw, and this isnt the type of mystery meat you want to dare eat raw! The fried rice was a joke and the duck was somehow dry and tasteless but the skin was soggy. ??one star for the 3 slices of pickles I added as a side which were soggy but I like pickles.
My girlfriend and I are on vacation in Coconut Grove for a few days and were looking for somewhere nearby for dinner, saw the pictures and decided to try it out. It was super busy and the guy up front was working so hard, and after trying the food I understand why it was so popular! I didn't know if I even liked duck until today, but it was amazing. We got the roasted duck fried rice and the noodle soup, both were excellent and super high quality. Probably the best fried rice I've ever had from a restaurant. Egg cooked perfectly. I'm going to be craving this duck forever now. The guy up front (I'm assuming he's the owner based on how much he cared about everything) was extremely sweet and helpful. It was absolutely worth the small wait for the food, I would recommend it to anyone. I wish I had somewhere like this back home.
Wanted to like this place as I love dim sum. Way too expensive for what you get. We ordered the duck bao buns, the pork bao buns, the chicken and scallion dumplings" and the pork and bean "dumplings" (they were steamed buns). It was $54 plus tip. There are two buns per order and 3 gyoza-style dumplings for the chicken and scallion (not very large). The pork in the bao buns (picture included) was tough and not plentiful. It was mainly vegetables, which would be fine for a smaller price tag. The duck was more tender, but again, not plentiful. The chicken gyōza were fine, just not a lot of food for their $11 price. The same tough pork was in the pork and bean steamed buns. The buns were a weird texture. Mostly bun. Not a lot of filling.Seemed like maybe everything was previously frozen and reheated. Super disappointed.
Very friendly owner! Got the chili prawn dumplings, roasted duck baos, roasted duckfried rice (the best of the three). Everything was tasty and flavorful. The duck with the rice was super yummy! My only criticism is that it is expensive for what you receive but there is a lack of good Asian food in south Florida. Recommended!
Amazing Asian food!!!! We came across this little cozy Asian restaurant by chance and we were extremely surprised about the quality and the reasonable prices of the tasty dishes. Raymond was super hospitable and nice to us. We fully recommend this place to everyone who loves Asian food ! Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a find! The food is amazing! The roast duck was cooked to perfection and the pork fried rice is delicious! The service was over the top! Greg the owner was great! He even loaned us an umbrella! Now that is customer service!! We will be back!
I ordered 2 Golden Fried Rice, The Roasted Duck Fried Rice, and The Ginger Beef. All were excellent!! The Duck was amazing and moist and very flavourful! The Ginger Beef, Awesome ?!! I highly recommend both! I didn't personally eat the Golden Fried Rice, But they said it tasted very good. I will definitely be ordering from here again!
Amazing food, and always reliable service! On a rainy night in Miami, it’s always a great feeling to get high quality, made-to-order food delivered right to my door! My absolutely favorite asian spot in Miami
Fantastic service and I had a great time eating delicious food. You must try the crispy duck salad, best salad I have try in a long time. Thank you Raymond for the great service, we will be coming back!
Hidden little gem in the Grove. Great Chinese fusion food! Bao Buns are a must have and don't the Pork Fried Rice!! Will be back for sure!

The pork fried rice was hands down the best fried rice I’ve ever had. The entire menu looks so legit, can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Miami!
Ordered take out for the first time and it was outstanding. The pork fried rice, chicken bao and crispy duck salad were terrific. Can’t wait to try this restaurant again - it’s definitely on the top of our ‘go to’ spots.
We highly recommend this restaurant!! Ray, the owner is successfully showcasing his extensive restaurant experience along with his discerning palate. And he’s such a genuinely nice person! His twist on Chinese cuisine is healthful and very flavorful. The crispy spring rolls were the best we’ve had outside Asia. The duck is perfectly cooked and his new salad is a home run! The dressing is crack. Do yourself a favor; eat at Duck ‘n Sum!!
Wow. This is probably the best Chinese food i’ve had since moving to Miami two years ago. It’s a slightly unique menu. I ordered the pork fried rice. The pork was cooked perfectly. And it had a really nice flavor (not too salty either). I also ordered the spring tiger king, which had a healthy amount of shrimp and good flavor as well. I’m typically a pretty harsh critic. But this place really checked all the boxes.
Finally got around to trying this spot and it was SO GOOD! Definitely a new Grove fave. Staff was super friendly and everything we ordered was delicious! Make sure you add the duck bao buns to your order if you try this place out!
