Mayfair Grill is situated inside the Mayfair Hotel which first opened in 1985. Since then, the hotel and restaurant have undergone extensive renovations. The original architecture is unique, and the atrium has to be experienced. We had a very nice table surrounded by water fountains and lush greenery. It's an oasis in the heart of the Grove. The ambiance is beautiful. Our server was great but the food…… just not good. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and the egg as overcooked. The sausage wasn’t cut. They were pieces that I had to bite into and the whole piece would come out. The potatoes had no salt and were stale. The Belgian waffles had no flavor.
