Highway robbery! The worst value I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. One (half-sized) piece of nigiri for $12, the smallest maki roll in the world for $20. We paid $120 and are still starving. On our way to get some tacos. Absurd.

This used to be Wabi Sabi, but with the new name comes increased prices and I’m not sure what else. For the bowls, make sure you get the Japanese noodles for the base, because the rice and mixed greens did not add to the flavor at all. The sauces other than the wasabi soy are just ok, nothing special. Overall the food was good but not amazing, I’m not sure how $18 for an unremarkable hamachi handroll makes sense and after eating a bowl and appetizer I was still hungry and had to run across the street for an empanada.

The food was great, really loved the spicy tuna sushi, definitely recommend! I liked the wasabi soy sauce given with the bowls as well. Only downside was the seats. The restaurant was full inside and we sat outside, but there were a bunch of mosquitoes biting our legs. Other than that, server was cool and food was great.
