Wow! In Miami you don’t often get wonderful service and it’s not often you find restaurants doing the “right” thing but Sweetgreen in Coconut Grove really surprised me! I placed an online order at the Coral Cables location and drove to the Coconut Grove location on accident - I didn’t realize it under the manager told me they didn’t have my order. The manager, Jose, was so kind and asked me what I had and told me he’d take care of me considering I already paid for the order at the other location. He ensured I was happy with my order and really did the right thing!!
Parking in both Coral Gables and the Grove are difficult so he saved me time!!
The salad was also delicious but the story behind the kindness of the location makes it even better!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is sensational. The staff is incredible. I went at night two days ago, and the kitchen girl named Naty is super sweet. With a beautiful smile, she offered me freshly baked food. It tasted incredible. This enhanced my experience because I see that they take our thoughts and feelings as customers very seriously. As a frequent customer, l've noticed that the manager Juan at this location treats employees very poorly. He's often rude, has a short temper, and seems to pick on the workers instead of supporting them. No employee deserves to be spoken to or treated that way. It's disappointing to see such behavior in a professional environment it creates a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for both staff and customers. This kind of treatment is absolutely unacceptable, and I truly hope the company addresses it.

Manager was SUPER rude and had very a short temper. Was my first time there and definitely my last. I could hear him talking to his coworkers and the way he was talking to them was disgusting-. As a manger myself no one should be speaking to their staff that way, he should not be a manger. I’m pretty sure his name was Juan.

This is my go-to spot for lunch in the Grove! I love the fresh, flavorful salads, especially the Kale Caesar, the Miso Glazed Salmon Bowl, and the seasonal Chicken Caprese (please never take this off the menu, it’s SO good!). Jose, the manager, is the best, and the whole staff is always super friendly and welcoming.
