I recently visited Coconut Grove with my wife from Colombia, and we decided to check out The Oyster Bar by Eva. Criscelis, the bartender, was absolutely incredible! Her cocktails were delicious, and she was very friendly and conversational, making the whole experience even better. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed a wonderful atmosphere.
If you’re looking for great drinks and delicious oysters, I highly recommend this spot! It’s a must-visit in Coconut Grove.

Friendly staff and very good service. Food was Mediterranean, similar to Greek with others mixed in too. Food was quite good and well enjoyed. I didn’t have wine but everyone that did said it was nice. Desserts were too good, so be careful.

I have been a regular patron of this restaurant groups many good restaurants over the years, so I knew to expect good food & service. The bartender & server, Claudia, were great. You get the feeling the staff cares and is attentive. The space is pretty, food was good, but it was extremely humid & hot and the huge double doors were wide open making it extremely uncomfortable inside. If I wanted to sit outside I would have booked an outside table! I had an inside table reserved, when I asked why the huge doors were open and staff said the manager liked it that way and were unwilling to do anything about it. We were seated as far from the door as possible, but as a result the A/C was on so high to compensate for the open doors and it was like a wind tunnel with the menus blowing all around. Food & service again, were good, but the food got cold quickly & I was far too aware of my general discomfort to relax and really enjoy it. Also, no music was playing. Strange choices by management that if corrected, I would go back.
While the food was good quality and well prepared, the service was worse than terrible. Brunch took a full two hours to and one of us, who ordered only pancakes, got his food an hour and forty minutes after ordering. Totally unacceptable and complaints were answered with excuses. Go elsewhere!
Cool little bar, we came right at closing and they were kind enough to grab a nightcap for us. Was a quiet little place, but that could have been because it was closing. Regardless, everyone was nice and kind - service was quick and attentive.

Most of the food was spectacular. I enjoyed my Greek salad very much and the tuna. Oh, and of course the pistachio dessert , it is nots one of my favorite desserts ever. The service was excellent. Our water was never empty, tables cleared almost immediately and silverware changed each course, which I love. Only downside the beef and lamb kebab was a bit dry for my husband and mom both. If you go in with that in mind and don't mind then overall a 5 star!
Sunday evening with a party of (3) adults. Beautiful venue, comfortable noise level, kind staff. Food was not spectacular, just ok. Nothing innovative or outstanding. Our order got mixed up with another table and was delivered to them first (they had arrived after we had)/. We were informed of same and told that they would hurry ours out as much as possible, but received no offer to comp anything on our order. Still had to wait a long time. Our waiter was very kind and tried his best.
not one dish or mixed drink from the bar we had was good. the tuna was flavorless, the chips that came with it were way too salty. meatballs were dry and dense. after that the mains came out, cold chicken skewers and a dry tasteless kebab. luckily the waiter was fantastic and the manager was great and took care of us
Cocktail, mezes and salad were very good. Mains were okay, not as special as the mezes. Service was courteous and active, no complaints there. Room is all hard surfaces so it is very noisy even when less than half full. Outside tables would be a better choice, weather permitting, even allowing for how busy the CocoWalk plaza gets.

Tuna ceviche and zucchini croquettes were great. Branzino ok but thin. Side lemon potatoes not lemony and too much spice - not hot just hard to taste the potatoes. Friends salmon dry and husband's lamb also too spiced (za'atar?)
To begin, happy hour is only at the bar and high top chairs. It was so noisy you couldn't hear the waiter speak. Served old sour Prosecco. Ordered four things. Zucchini croquettes, delicious, small pieces. Mussels were bad, we didn't eat them. The Sea bass was good served with fennel we couldn't eat. Scallops over risotto, came with orzo instead. Only 3 scallops and we left one because it really wasn't good. Oh, we asked for bread to dunk in the mussels and they charged us. Go figure? Service was good. Won't go back.
I had a large table next to the kitchen for my birthday dinner. The food quality was excellent although the server was struggling to service us: Knowing the group was sharing; didn't offer serving spoons and when he did he only brought a few not understanding we wanted a serving utensil for each dish. We ordered dessert and they didn't put a candle on the dessert. Certainly a missed opportunity to create a lasting memory. The restaurant was empty. Thank you to the kitchen for putting out excellent food.
Amazing experience!!! All around! What made it even better was our bartender, Paul. The skill, service, and all around talent is off the chain. Super recommend!!!
