What a shame that Tigertail + Mary is closing. Hard to understand why when it was well attended and was such a good addition to the neighborhood - especially now that the potential for patrons has grown with the addition of two new office buildings. The area is lovely and dining outdoors is a pleasure there. The food has always been very good to excellent. I loved taking guests there because it represented Coconut Grove so well. Tigertail + Mary will be very much missed.

The food is good but overpriced. Ambiance is really nice, especially during covid times... Being able to sit outdoors is fantastic. The service from our waiter was the worst that I have ever experienced

Service was exceptional, sat outside and enjoyed the patio. There were plenty of fans and we felt safe in Covid times. Food was delicious, server made excellent recommendations, spaghetti was slightly under salted, but aside from that we enjoyed all our food. we're looking forward to coming back with the whole family.

Amazing experience! We recommend the whipped Feta with pita bread, it's a must! Our favorite mushroom pizza! Also Steak and eggs (delicious and tender), chilaquiles - very tasty and generous plate and smoked salmon we can't decide which one we liked most!!! Very kind and gentle waiters one of our favorite restaurants in town!

Went for Saturday brunch and sat outside in the beautiful garden setting. Outstanding food! Do not miss the Shrimp Toast - perfection! Also enjoyed the beets with stracciatella and pistachios and Pozone (although the soft boiled egg was closer to hard boiled). Great spicy Bloody Mary. Only service glitch is no one ever checked back to see if we were enjoying our selections. Seem to be running into that a lot since we moved here. Also the website promotes Saturday as having live jazz. There was none - this needs to be removed.

The biggest problem was the service, which was almost none existent. We has a 12 noon reservation for 6. My husband and I arrived first. Someone came and got us water. A few minutes later the rest came and it was a good 30 minutes before anyone came to even give water. After that everything was slow. Hard to flag down a waiter. Food came out sporadically. I think the problem was there were only 2 waiters and neither was specifically assigned to our table, so neither knew what the other had done. We also had a 3 year old with us which made it hard to sit for the almost 2 1/2 hour brunch! Would not go back!

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 25th anniversary here and it did not disappoint. Initially expressed my dissatisfaction with table (in middle of dining room in the path of kitchen/meal delivery)…that was quickly sorted with NO attitude…? My husband and I had two sides to start…Brussels and Kambocha squash…both yummy. My husband ordered spaghetti and I had grouper…both were great but vote for spaghetti …very tasty! We were treated to a dessert with sprinklers snd all…complimentary…nice way to end an evening. Tigertail and Mary always consistent and delicious. I had the chardonnay (by glass) which was also very good.

I gave two stars because our server was excellent. However the hostess was awful. We reserved a table outside for happy hour, which I do almost every week. It was raining lightly and I asked if we could sit outside but under the roof and she said no because happy hour was outside or at the bar. So we sat outside and it started to pour down. She again said the bar. However, she sat another table that was outside in the area under the roof. Finally, we got a table under the roof. I understand there may be rules, however, when most tables are empty and it's pouring rain, perhaps the rules can be bent a little. Especially when the prior time I was there it also started to rain and the hostess then sat us down where we couldn't yesterday....

Ambiance was nice and server was sweet. My dish came out cold, it felt like it had been sitting up there awhile waiting to be delivered. This and the fact I wasn't really offered an entire new hot dish left a damper on our meal.

The first restaurant in miami that I have eaten at that the food was bad. Real bad. Absolutely no flavor in the food and worse yet the drinks have zero flavor and were totally watered down. Would never eat there again.

Made reservation weeks in advance. Party of five for a special occasion. Hostess walked our group out to a patio where people were dining then made us wait while she disappeared to find out where to seat us. Was sat at a table that was not set. Waiter brought a stack of plates and silverware that we passed around. After that, waited almost 60 minutes for order to be taken. Waiter ignored our table. It was difficult to get his attention when we needed anything since it appeared he looked the other way whenever he was in the vicinity. Since he was no where to be found, I walked up to the hostess and asked if she could assist with getting a surprise dessert (cake) brought to our table with a candle in it for a birthday. She refused to assist in any way and told me I had to track down my server. So I ended up finding him and after a 45 minute wait, with my family getting ready to leave, waiter finally showed up with a slice of cake (no candle; plus he never asked anyone else at our table if they wanted dessert, gave us all spoons with the assumption all 5 of us would be eating the birthday dessert). The entire meal took 3 hours due to all the waiting! Would have informed management the next day, but none of us heard the waiters name. Food and location are good, such a shame service was so poor! Big disappointment.

The service was extremely slow. The food itself was pretty bad (I had the grouper and it was dry and hard). The waiter seemed very inexperienced. He forgot a round of drinks and brought us the wrong check. I will not be back

So sad that this was a great food place and had become a horrible food place since the last time we were there 5 months ago. Food was bad, service terrible, they serve us both dishes from the Miami Spice Menu at the same time and the appetizer we ordered for sharing came after all food already was on the table...explanation was "we serve the food as soon it is made in the kitchen" (?) instead of observing the obvious appetizer first and entree after...a disaster....heard they are closing...they must.

Although the ambience and the service was incredible, the food was lackluster. We dined during Miami Spice Week hoping to take advantage of a great deal and what we hoped would be a great curated menu. The food itself seemed eager to please yet fell short with the actual execution of what they hoped to be great dishes. Things to probably avoid off the menu: the 'ndjah toast and the housemade spaghetti (unless you love sucking the inside of a lemon). Overall if you want to take some cute instagram picture this is your place, if you're looking to eat good food maybe go somewhere else?
