I have come here quite a few times and have been able to try multiple items on their menu. I'm normally not the type to write reviews on here but after the amazing experience I've had here I feel like I have to. Visiting Als coffee shop was an absolute delight. The rich aroma of their freshly brewed coffee, paired with a cozy ambiance, set the perfect stage for a delightful experience. The baristas were extremely friendly, crafted each cup with care, and overall have served me an amazing cup of coffee every single time I've stopped by. Aside from their wonderful coffee the menu offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options. So far I've tried their quesadillas, chicken sandwich, breakfast sandwich, Asian salad, a few of their wraps, the Philly cheesesteak (very underrated in my opinion), and they've all tasted amazing. They have a few tables inside if you'd like to dine in but the food also comes out very quickly so if you're in a rush it's a great place to order from. Every time I've eaten here the manager has been extremely friendly always coming out to check on the customers and asking if everything came out okay. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make this coffee shop a must-visit. It's no surprise that I'm giving it a well-deserved five-star rating!

I was just reading that this place changed ownership. This explains the downward spiral in the quality of food and lack of service. Food is disgustingly burned, dried, or served cold. I think they keep the rice from one day to the other and serve it cold the following day. I had a tropichop special and the rice was ice cold, beans tasted like vinegar. Asked them to heat it up and I guess the microwave wasn't heating properly because they gave it back to me cold. Today I go to get empanadas for lunch and first there are none available at noon so they fried them, rather they burned them and they were swimming in grease in the brown bag. Disgusting...Their prices have doubled on some items. I always used to order from here but no more. Even if I'm starving I will not be going here. If they continue on this path, the path will be short. I don't see them in business for much longer. No wonder the place has been empty for months, I wondered why and now we know...under new ownership.

I go here in the mornings solely for convenience of being right next to work, but unless you order ahead of time, and then give them another 15-20 mins then you won't get your food "on time." Today, I waited 30 mins for a few croquettas and one empanada.. any other day just order ahead, and hope it won't be overcooked, as it usually is. Like today. I don't ask for refunds, I'll just never return unless I'm desperate. I'm majorly disappointed. I can't eat this burnt nonsense.

I usually visit this place for breakfast and sometimes lunch. I stopped going after they changed ownership. I went today and asked for an egg ham and cheese wrap with an order of hash browns. My order took about 20 minutes and when I received my order, there was no egg in the wrap and the chess wasn’t even melted. The hash brown were also cold and stale. After my first bite, I grabbed my food, threw it all in the garbage and walked out. Never again!!!

Horrible service. Never come at the time of pick up because they’ll make you wait another 10-20mins. Say that they just started making the food. Wouldn’t recommend if you want late food. And it wasn’t even busy when I placed my order. And another customer that didn’t make his order online got his food first. While I have to wait for mine to be prepared after his. So much for ordering online. Disappointed.
Ownership changed and went to Sh!t. Order taken wrong on the phone, charged more. bad tasting food and a plastic item was inside the quesadilla. service was bad. Ladies don't understand English.

One of the best coffee shops ever, I always order delivery to my job, Amazing service and fast deliveries, the delivery driver knows my name and always has a great attitude. The one time there was an "issue" with an order they called me to fix it. Never have I had a place call me to fix an order. Felt paid attention to, will always keep ordering from them. BEWARE! Food poisoning from the tuna salad made with the yogurt. Horrific past 2 days and definitely intoxicated by this meal. Al's was once upon a time a great restaurant. Ate there for 10 years+ and never an issue. I just heard the owner, who used to run it himself, sold the restaurant this past summer to hands-off investors. NEVER AGAIN! NOT A GOOD START FOR THESE FOLKS. I guess Subway or some other gig may be moving in soon b/c this won't last.
