Last holiday season, my work team and I decided to celebrate at American Kitchen, and it turned out to be an absolutely delightful choice. We reserved the private section of the restaurant, which was both spacious and inviting, perfectly accommodating our group for the secret Santa and white elephant events. The private area offered us the privacy and comfort we needed to enjoy our festivities without feeling cramped or interrupted. The food at American Kitchen was a hit among the team. With a variety of options to choose from, everyone found something they loved, and the quality of the meals was consistently good across the board. The dishes were flavorful, well-presented, and served in a timely manner, which is always appreciated during a group event. The atmosphere of the restaurant added to our overall enjoyment. It was nicely decorated, creating a warm and festive vibe that perfectly complemented our holiday gathering. The staff at American Kitchen were also part of what made our experience so positive. They were attentive, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure our group had everything we needed.Celebrating the holidays at American Kitchen with my work team was a wonderful experience. The combination of the private and spacious section, delicious food, and the festive atmosphere made for a memorable evening. I would highly recommend American Kitchen for anyone looking to host a group event or simply enjoy a great meal in a pleasant setting.

We went there for lunch & shared the branzino. The fish was bland & served over canned corn that they claimed to be “roasted corn” along with some puréed tomato saucey stuff that was explained on the menu as salsa... The food was really disappointing. Our lunch totaled up to $106 for the entree and 2 lemon drop martini cocktails! Very overpriced and overall not good food.

SoulEdge: LionheartI was there for breakfast. I ordered The Americana with Mango juice, even though Mona my server recommended the bacon. I opted for the chicken sausage. The portions were good. Excellent seasoning on the tomato & cilantro is a nice garnish. I should have ordered the bacon. Due to I didn’t like the sausage, it felt it had a bland taste. This visit is dedicated to my ex German American gf. As she impacted my life in a positive manner. She say ”Don’t be a Masshole & Pay it forward.”Right then $10.00 tip to Mona, good service ditto to Nicole the hostess. Lastly a comfortable American atmosphere, Yes thank you & that’s another reason why I returned to dine at this location. Meaning there’s no intrusive / nosy questions asked by hotel personnel. I unfortunately had that experience in other hotels in this area. Cue in the songs Creed - My Sacrifice, Avril Lavigne - Let Me Go (Official Video) ft. Chad Kroeger, and Lagertha | Thunder and Lightning by James Smith. ????✊✌️?

Not so happy hour. It used to be a good happy hour until they jacked up the prices on everything. Overall great service, good food but not worth it anymore. Used to go 2xs a month now we won’t be going anymore.

I stayed at Loew's for a conference and didn't find anything exciting on the room service menu. I ventured down to Americana Kitchen where I had sushi and a glass of Prisoner (my fave!) I ordered the crab and avocado roll and the spicy tuna roll. Both were incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious!! I'd read a review that described the crab roll as bland but I totally disagree! Both were better than similar rolls I've had at actual sushi restaurants in DC. The pour was generous and the service was top tier. The meal was on the pricier side but well worth it. I highly recommend!

I would avoid this place. I was staying at the hotel and stopped in at the Americana several times, both with my two children and without them. The first time, we sat in the pretty outdoor areas of the restaurant which was empty - one table in use. The manager wouldn't let us sit there or and any of the inside tables, and wouldn't serve us anything unless we wanted the $75/person brunch (it was 3pm). We didn't, so they kicked us out. The breakfast is hit and miss - the potatoes were fried on the outside and uncooked on the inside, another day I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were raw on the inside and inedible. Had dinner there another night and it was great - I recommend the pasta. Last night I stopped in to get coffee and dessert and sat there at the bar for ten minutes while nobody waited on me in a mostly empty bar before leaving. Basically they treated me like I was lucky to be eating in their restaurant. No apologies for the bad food or bad service, and when they took the inedible food off my bill they acted like they were doing me a favor.

Woman on super loud speakerphone FaceTime. Everyone can hear the piercing sounds of their conversation. She was told to lower it once but she ignored the ask. Been like this all meal. No accountability.
