I love purchasing groupons because it gives me a chance to check out places that I may not normally frequent and it's always a hit or miss but this was absolutely a hit!
I have nothing bad to say about the place. Everything was great! The atmosphere; the food; the service...all great! We had the calamari appetizer and we usually get it for my husband because I don't like how chewy they usually are but this one was not. I loved it. I had the burger and my husband had the chicken piccata and they were both amazing plus with the discount we got on the groupon, even better.
Also, for a Monday, it was pretty jumping.

Made a reservation for 10pm, showed up at 9:15 and when I greeted the hostess to let her know I was here for a 10pm reservation she promptly with attitude said "Then your table will be ready at 10pm" no hello, no customer service, just that. Then surprise surprise I come back at 9:55 to tell her again I'm here for my reservation and the table wasn't ready until about 10:20. How did you have almost an hour to prep my table and still sat me 20 mins late?
Once seated at the worst table near the kitchen & bathroom, the server came to us & was pleasant and took our first drink order... then never really checked on us again. We told ourselves if by 11 they don't ask us if we want food we will get the check and go get pizza. That is exactly what ended up happening. So unfortunately I can't comment on the quality of the food.
I'm not sure what else to say, I doubt everyone has that bad of an experience but it was our experience. We won't be returning.

Whenever I travel I always make sure I find some jazz spot to sit and relax to some good music. I couldn’t wait to visit this place during my time in Miami. I went solo on a Sunday evening, wasn’t crowded but nice size crowd. But the place is very small and intimate so not many people can fit in anyways. They do take walk ins but I highly recommend a reservation since the place is so small. The food, service and best of all music were all on point. It was a whole vibe. Just very relaxing and enjoyable. And at the end of your meal you get complimentary tea in the cutest China. Made the experience all the more enjoyable.

If you walk by and see that Happy hour is 50% off of drinks and appetizers - double check your receipts. The food was less than great. The skirt steak was burnt and cold, the truffle Mac and cheese was as good as a boxed Mac&Cheese. It had a hint of truffle in ONE bite. The drinks were spectacular with a wonderful wine selection and a decent mocktail menu. The daytime atmosphere was wonderful with it being a cozy, dark, velvet and just old New York. Once the sun goes down that dark atmosphere adds to the cozy Roaring 20s feel. The band gets started at 6 and boy were they STUPENDOUS! Prior to the band going on stage and in between sets the background music made me fall into a trance.Our waitress, Arlene, was not very atrentive when she was given more than 2 tables. Tables were waving her down and the table next to ours complained of cold onion soup and even called another server over to get her to come back with a drink. Customer service in a place like this, is everything and she is the weak link in the group. It seems like she was here because she HAD to be here not because she enjoyed it. The gentleman server was cracking jokes with tables around us, took our picture and was really there for his tables. Our experience might have been that much better if we had been seated there. At the end of our evening, our bill came and there was no Happy Hour discount… when asked for it the discount was only 20%… I had to speak to someone else to verify that it was indeed 50% and not 20% between 4-6pm. Please have them email or text your receipts to double check because our server made an error and it left a sour taste in my mouth-much like the cold skirt steak did.
Music was amazing and will come back to sit at the BAR and have only drinks and listen to the music.
